Good place for a quick bite to eat. Had a decent selection of buns and other dishes. I had 3 steamed buns and plum iced tea. The food is nicely presented and quick to be served but didn't exceed any expectations. Waiters were very nice and quick too. The shop is quite small so gets busy

Discovered this place while strolling in China Town. We were friendly, greeted on the ground floor, and then seated on the first floor overlooking the street. The menu is short and simple in both English and Chinese. Our waiter was very helpful and answered all of our questions. We ended up ordering 6 bao buns, we chose different fillings - veggies, chicken lamb, and beef. Buns are so fluffy and full of flavour. We also ordered pork dim sum, which was excellent. The shiitake and egg fried rice was so delicious. Beer was good, but they don't have a huge variety of non-alcoholic drinks. The place is a bit pricey, but food is definitely worth a try.

I was not very surprised about the milky bones, but the taste was good. The wonton was authentic, I could have another bowl! For people who don’t eat spicy food, I recommend ordering the non spicy one. The omelet rice was very silky and a nice mixture with prawns. The most amazing dish was the bun. We ordered the custard and pork. They were both very delicious and reminded me my childhood after school snack time. Oh, the plum juice amazed me as well. It was so refreshing when I ate the strong flavor food.

Although a place with very few seats it has its own atmosphere. I tried the chicken beef and pork signature buns and I was satisfied. It's filled with tasty filling and soft, moist bun. Overall I recommend it

A cute restaurant in the heart of china town. The buns are their best thing to try in my opinion, so flavorful and tender. Try for sure the 3 mix and get a pork, chicken and custard one as a dessert. They recommended us the milk ribs but was for me nothing special. The staff very friendly and the prices very normal.

We went here mainly for custard buns. They were nice and runny (my family enjoyed it); i am not a big fan of egg yolks so not too thrilled. I will go back for other things on the menu, which was looking extremely nice. The waiters there were nice and friendly. Really wanted to provide good service.

Needless to say that the star dish of bun house is its buns; its custard bun in particular. Is it the best custard bun in London? No, i think the custard bun in din tai fung is better. The texture of the custard in bun house is runnier, however it's not as flavourful as the buns of din tai fung. I gave the service 3 stars because after being shown to our seats we had no service for about 10 minutes, then the other servers came to our table and told us that that they were closing soon (we arrived at about 3pm and i checked that they only closed at 10.30pm). Their kaya french toast is worth a try but the wait time for this dish is about 20 to 30 minutes. (I had to double check that the order was placed)

A great option for lunch or dinner. We had dinner here £88 for four of us. We had 6 buns, one portion of har gau (prawn dim sum), fried chicken curry, cucumber and soy salad, milk fried ribs and French toast. Every single thing was amazing, so tasty and authentic and there is the option to eat in or grab your bun on the go. There isn't a huge deal of space upstairs but we didn't have any issue getting a table. My first portion of chicken curry was undercooked but it was changed quickly with no problem and the staff were incredibly polite and friendly. All in all a great choice.

Weirdly enough, I stumbled upon this place and decided to que up because the line was long so decided it must be good. I don't eat a lot of buns as I don't like the fillings to bun ratios but these were incredibly. I got a custard, pork and chicken and would gladly go back. The chicken was a nice curry base, pork had a smoky flavour and was nice and succulent, custard was probably some of the best I've had. The custard exploded on my shirt as I bit into that so be careful but means it's fresh and awesome

Delicious food. The buns were incredible, especially the chicken and the beef. We got 3 for £11 which feels like really good value for chinatown. We also had the beef short rib which was delicious and worth every penny. Avoid the sesame noodles, didn't feel worth the £8 and the least exciting thing we ordered. Service was pretty slow, with people who sat down after us getting served first but not bad overall
