Mil Kitchen is great! It’s such great value for money. The portions are huge and the ambiance is lovely.
The one thing I would say is that every time I try to go in for a take away coffee I do not get served and end up leaving before a waiter even says hello to me (usually about 5 minutes)

I use to go to this small cafe/restaurant when I was at University and I remembered the breakfast being amazing and it didn't disappoint when I returned.
The atmosphere is always nice in the morning especially when the sun's out you can either have food inside or outside which is a nice touch.
The food was amazing I got the Eggs Royal (I believe it was called) with smoked salmon, on top of an English Muffin and salad on the side. The smoked salmon complemented the dish really well as it should. The sauce was smooth and very tasty and the poached eggs was cooked just right. My wife got the veggie breakfast which she really enjoyed. The quantity of the food was more than enough and you will definitely be full after your meal.
The price was not too bad for myself and my wife it came to around £30 I believe.

Very nice full English breakfast and pastries, order two sandwiches for takeaway. They were delicious and very filling. Very good value money and quality is top notch.

Wow this little gem of a place is certainly a cut above any cafe I've ever been in its more along the lines of a bistro. If you are near this area this place is definitely one to visit for, lunch, breakfast or a lovely brunch. All food is cooked fresh with a very enthusiastic chef. The place is very welcoming with alot of thought on layout, colours, pictures, furniture and food. I will definitely be going back.

The food was delicious!! The Service really friendly and polite and the atmosphere was the traditional English vibe. We had the English breakfast two days in a row and it was terrific😁

Had breakfast and a hot drink which came by quickly. We had a reservation and I was pleased with the space for a buggy move around too. Meals and drinks were reasonably priced and there was plenty of outdoor seating for eating.
