Ordered a selection of starters and mains. The starters were pretty basic, not much flavour, all deep fried. The mains were much better and thoroughly enjoyed, in particular the thai green curry. Initially I was surprised by the portion sizes but did not leave hungry. I would definitely go back for the mains or order a delivery. Service wise, the staff were fairly quiet, polite enough but not much interaction. Prices were reasonable, average for similar.

The food was amazing with lots of flavours we loved it. It well worth it and the price 👌 i would say the best thai restaurant i been to in a long time. If you love thai food this is the place to go.

Absolutely delicious. The food was so good. I forgot to take any pictures except for this one bowl of vegetables and even that bowl of vegetables was delicious!
We had spicy noodles pad, Thai green Thai curry Bangkok, lamb, egg fried rice. Every single dish was fantastic!
Almost forgot, the starters were great too!

Great Thai food, and well priced. Really enjoyed the fried rice and green curry, and there's a good variety on the menu where you can choose the style of dish and your choice of meat.
It got quite busy inside though and unfortunately there was only one member of the wait-staff which meant things could take a while.

First time visiting the Bangkok Lounge but certainly won’t be the last. The restaurant is quite small but cosy and has some nice Thai furnishings inside. The service was very good, prompt and friendly. Having spent a lot of time in Thailand over the years, it’s no easy task to find places here that serve authentic Thai cuisine, but this is definitely one of them. The mixed starter for two was nicely presented and had a good variation of hors d'oeuvres. For mains we went for a Red Curry with chicken, a Pad Thai with prawns and Pad Kra Pao with beef. All were delicious, perfectly spiced and well portioned. So much so that we couldn’t finish them all. For dessert, Mango with Sticky Rice. A nice sweet ending to an excellent meal.
Update: Had our second meal here yesterday evening. While the flavours were excellent, the Sizzling King Prawn dish was overpriced in my opinion. Only 5 prawns which were very small indeed for £17 is excessive. Would still recommend but will steer clear of this dish in future

A small but friendly Thai restaurant, our Friday evening visit wasn't booked but we were able to get our choice of table. The menu is extensive, with the full meat, seafood, and vegetarian choice across the board. The staff were friendly and efficient, and when i chose tofu checked if i was vegan as my choice contained nam pla. The food was very well presented and a great balance of flavour and heat. Recommended as a great place to get your fix of Thai food.

I have eaten here several times and they never disappoint. Staff are very friendly and polite. The restaurant has a good relaxed feel to it. Seating is comfortable with nicely presented cutlery.
For sure the chefs know how to cook here!
