Star Of India - London - Photo album

London's best Indian restaurant. Extremely innovative menu. Each & every menu item is very creative & made with special delicacy. I really enjoyed & literally spent time reading their different menus & underlying description. It's really great to see the efforts in selecting ingredients.
We have been going to this restaurant for 25 years and it has always been great. On this occasion, we shared onion bhajees and sheesh kebabs for starters, followed by Achari chicken, chicken tikka Masala, and a chicken balti, with pilau rice, plain, garlic and peshwari nans. Everything was fresh an
After poppadoms and dips, I went for the chicken balti keshri as my main, which I’ve not had before. It comes with a plain naan and I added chana sag as a side. The main was delicious - flavoursome sauce, good quality chicken, generous portions… I didn’t feel I needed to add rice. I would definitely
This restaurant has a good range of fine Indian food, from the expected kormas, madrases and vindaloos to some more unusual dishes. It is best to book but not always necessary. A restaurant that is always popular with the locals and usually fairly busy. Tables are spaced adequately so you won't be s

Fantastic food as always...constantly good Good portions and friendly service.
I've eaten here a few times it is actually one of my favourite indians compared to others. Good value and generous portions, atmosphere is very ambiotic and peaceful. Service not bad my only complaint is nan bread always seems burnt but other than that deserve 5 stars i highly recommend and will ret
I have been eating here for many years and it's still the high standard that it's always been . Friendly, clean and delicious
Amazing food, staff are really friendly and attentive. Couldn’t fault my experience. Will definitely be back!
First visit , wont be the last.Great food, friendly service, good value.Interior front door around the handle could do with cleaning/painting, a bit off putting as you walk in
Fantastic night. We held our engagement meal here for 20 people. All our food came within minutes of eachother, all piping hot and not one person complained. The staff were helpful and they met all of our needs with the elderly family members. Can not fault this place one bit. Well worth a visit if
Excellent food, friendly people, A great curry house. Will definitely be back.
Order from here most weeks, never disappointed. Good food delivered well
Apart from manager coughed/sneezed over plates on counter was a great visit, good service and food was very tasty. Great prices too.
Used to eat in here years ago. Moved back into the area and ordered the non-vegetarian thali for delivery tonight. There is enough for 2 people. I have frozen half for another night as was so full. I dished up half and struggled to finish it. Just wish I could have ordered a can of Pepsi max als
So glad I discovered this. Will definitely be returning!
Can't really say much else other than a perfect evening. I had the lamb and keema rice and the lamb just fell apart which is rare to get. The layout is decent which means plenty of space. The staff were there when needed which meant I didn't have to look around not once.
Frist time here the food was outstanding and the staff were really good. Can't wait to visit again.
