A full day of karate training certainly builds up the appetite. We booked a table as we were told it gets busy (recommended). Waiting staff are attentive and friendly. Food is outstanding. Prices, for London, impressive! I will 100% be back.

I am mad about sushi and I have it everywhere I go (Asia, America, Europe). I have to say this restaurant is in my "top 3 Sushi Restaurant list" because of their "Dragon Roll": fried shrimp sushi covered with beef and the perfect sauce to go with it. The combination of seafood and beef is absolutely brilliant! Also the salmon sashimi (raw fish) is very fresh and finally the gyosas are perfectly steamed cooked. They have two Japanese beers and I recommend the one called Kirim which is a slightly stronger lager. The staff is very friendly and the food comes and goes very fast. It is a quiet place with Japanes decor ideal for couples. I have already gone 3 times and I recommend it to all the #sushilovers
Great to see some daily specials on the boards - we took a recommendation on the asparagus and that turned out to be the nicest dish. Prices are decent and sharing is quite easy. We shared with two pescatarians and I didn't actually consciously pick non-meat but some of the options were so interesting that this happened by default. A decentish price on a bottle of plum wine too...
Crouch End may not be the most obvious place for mind-blowing Japanese, but that's what we love - the unsung, the underrated, the unexpected. Friends A & H suggested Monday night to try their local Japanese, Wow Simply Japanese . We jumped into our little rented Connect car and drove through leafy Hampstead to Crouch End. They had been given an inside tip from the waitress. Come on Monday night after the weekly delivery and be prepared to be in awe. This waitress wasn't kidding... Crispy Tofu steak: Genius. Covered in an irresistible panko shell, the steak was of the firmer tofu variety, elegantly fried and drizzled with teriyaki. Miso coated Aubergine: Marinated in dark miso, then baked, the aubergine was in effect a spread when it arrived in its own case. I love the caramelised flavours that miso produces when baked. Food was perfectly cooked, presented and the flavours and quality of produces were excellent.
We ordered the Octopus salad that was a complete new experience of flavour, textures and flavour combinations. We got the Wow roll, Dragon Roll and the Crazy roll. All of them were delicious. We also got the pickles and the chicken Udon noodles. For dessert, the banana tempura which was supposed to come with vanilla Icecream but I asked if it could be with salted caramel and the lovely lady prepared it with salted caramel Icecream which made me even happier about the whole experience. The moshi Icecream was crazily delicious.
I recommend this place a lot. The prices an quality are excellent.

So delicious and at much more affordable prices than most places. I absolutely love their miso soup which comes with the main meal. Super lovely staff too, 10/10 recommend 😊

Holy moly this has to be the best sushi I have ever had! Reasonably priced, great service and gosh I just can't get over the quality. The Zen Maki and teriyaki rolls were crazy good. The miso soup is delicious too. Perfect little low key date spot. Will definitely be back for more!

We were initially skeptical about this place because of the name - could not have been more wrong! Authentic, delicious food at fair prices. Really glad we gave it a chance and will be returning soon.

Ordered a salmon bento and a surf & turf bento from the website for a takeaway. To our surprise, we could not find the salmon. The food was also loosely packed and not very hot. Tried to phone the restaurant, there was only the voice message to say they are open limited hours at last Christmas...if someone is running this restaurant seeing this, please get in touch. Our order number was 9941. — A follow up note: they did phone and apologise and also made things up. Service was much better so I would try again!
A lovely little gem. The service was impeccable, the food worthy of praise. The presentation, taste and value exceeded my expectations. Definitely a returning happy customer. I have to have more from thier menu and can hardly wait to try
