Decent for the value! Only one issue though. When going as a large group though, if you order large portion numbers in one round they tend to cut it back, assuming you won't eat it all.

Best Value Sushi. The unassuming Sushi Cafe on Battersea Park Road is simply amazing. They have an all you can eat buffet for £14.99 per person. The buffet is not a standing buffet, but an order buffet, where the very friendly and attentive staff will help you make your selections from a generous menu of hot and cold dishes. In addition, there are other set menus and a la carte menus with an extended variety of dishes and sushi, if you desire.
The only criticism I have is that some items on the menu were not clear about the amount of food (very generous!), which made it easy to over order. As you are not allowed to take food away from the buffet menu, it makes it imperative that you finish everything! I am telling everyone I know who enjoys Japanese food to visit this wonderful little gem.

Special Sushi. I visited Sushi Cafe in Battersea on Match 19th and was greeted by the charming owner, Mr Yang.
The restaurant in Battersea Park Road serves fine original Japanese food - sashimi, nigiri sushi, sushi platters, a large variety of rolls, tempura, soup noodles etc .I sampled a lot of the dishes on offer and was not disappointed. Each dish was delicious, the service was attentive and unhurried and I will return.
I recommend this sushi restaurant highly - understated but a real find for sushi lovers.

Just brilliant. You can't imagine how great this tiny, unassuming sushi cafe is. The food was superb, incredible value and one of my best finds all year. The staff were eccentric and friendly - we were brought a few things that we didn't order but that they insisted we try! A lovely, refreshing, delicious experience all round.

Unassuming but terrific sushi. I have been to Sushi Cafe twice, and therefore assess the first was not a fluke, and the food is fantastic. If you want to go and eat somewhere purely on the merits of the food then go there. The venue is basic but the service is friendly.

I have a little secret to share. I think I may have found the best sushi buffet in London. sushi cafe A groupon deal led me to “sushi café” in Battersea. My friends booked a table for 10. We demolished as much as we could and were all surprised by how tasty most of the things was.

Amazing value for money! This buffet has such a fantastic range of sushi rolls and nigiri available. I'd have to say I'm so impressed, even with the quality of sushi. And I'm a huge sushi fan so that's saying a lot.

Not the best sushi I have tried, but very fresh and excellent value. There are a lot of hot dishes in the buffet. Give them a try. I love the policy for food wasters: if you don't eat all what you order, you pay extra £5.

I have a little secret to share. I think I may have found the best sushi buffet in London.
A groupon deal led me to “sushi café” in Battersea. My friends booked a table for 10. We demolished as much as we could and were all surprised by how tasty most of the things was.

Tofu steaks soaked in dashi soup, takoyaki octopus balls had a creamy taste inside the bouncy chewy balls.

The salmon skin rolls were the best of the brunch. Crispy fried coated batter wrap around the skin.

The fish and ingredients tasted really decent, sushi rice had enough flavouring, rice cooked too perfection. Often I find in other sushi restaurants the rice is too soggy and under flavoured.

This is a really good bargain buffet for £14.99, it may seem like a trek to Battersea but it’s the top list for the best value for money.

The large poster at the entrance of the restaurant reads "eat as much as you like," but the reality is that not all items are "eat as much as you like." I was a bit disappointed in this aspect. I can only blame myself for not carefully reading the fine print that stated some items have a maximum limit of 3 portions per person. So, my disappointment is really my own fault. The restaurant didn't mislead me; I just misunderstood because I was accustomed to the all-you-can-eat experience in Asian-style restaurants, particularly Japanese ones. The variety of food was extensive, and the flavors were good. The restaurant itself wasn't large, but the seating was not cramped, and it was comfortable to eat there. The service provided by the staff was also good. Overall, I had a positive experience.

Was here for a business meeting, someone local to the area took me there. Was impressed by the unlimited 3 round system. We definitely left a few kilos heavier...lol The sushi quality was actually to a good standard too. I definitely will revisit with my family. The food was to a high standard especially for buffets. Normally buffets quality is a lot less than a normal restaurant. Starters come out hot as well. Can be a bit of a squeeze in there as it does get very busy. None the less an authentic vibe. Would definitely recommend to any sushi fans in the London area.

Went for the buffet- £24 each, 1hr1/2 to eat,l. You order on the menu in three courses(sets) of up to six dishes. Was awesome, came away so full. Definitely recommend going with an idea/plan of what you want to eat before you get there -clock starts when you sit down (you order one set of 6/person, then order the next when you're ready). Atmosphere was close and noisy, but it didn't detract from the experience. Was good to see a mix of people there. Food was fresh and lovely. Gor to try various things I'd not had but always wanted to try. Pretty standard menu in choices, but still pretty varied.

Great quality food for an ‘all you can eat’, and a wide range of choice between small cooked plates and sushi. The service was not only fast but the staff was very friendly and we had a nice chat. I would definitely recommend Sushi Cafe as a solid Japanese spot in London. For the buffet menu, you have 1.5 hours, with three rounds of orders and a maximum of 6 plates per person each time. This was definitely enough to fill us up! I would also say 1.5 hours is a good time limit, although we were only two people eating on a Tuesday lunch, so we were quick and it wasn’t very busy yet. There is a £5 penalty if you don’t finish your food so be mindful about what you order. Overall, a great find, and I will definitely be coming back!

Visited here on a Saturday afternoon. It wasn’t too busy but was still lively. The service was amazing, food came quickly, frequent top ups of water, taking away used plates, bringing the bill, everything was wonderful. The sushi was fresh and tasty and the buffet gives you great value for money. I’ll definitely be returning here, I definitely recommend!

Great for a date night! Pretty decent selection of items and everything we had was really tasty. Its busy but you’re not squeezed in. The smiles, positive conversation and clinking of glasses delivers a perfect atmosphere where it feels like a good local restaurant. At price for the amount and quality of food you get almost makes it feel like you’re in on a secret that even the staff arent haven’t caught onto yet. Highly recommend to anyone that loves sushi, great Chinese or Japanese or South Asian food!!

Great Value, Tasty Sushi, and Friendly Service I recently visited Sushi Cafe in London and found it to be a fantastic dining experience. The all-you-can-eat sushi buffet for £24.8 per person is an excellent value, with a wide range of delicious sushi options to choose from. However, I noticed that the majority of items on the menu were fried dishes, noodles and sushi, which might make it easy for some diners to feel satiated quickly. To combat this, I recommend ordering a pot of tea to help cleanse your palate and make the most of the buffet offerings. Aside from the food, the service and ambiance at Sushi Cafe were both outstanding. The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring that our dining experience was enjoyable from start to finish. Overall, I highly recommend Sushi Cafe for a great-value sushi experience in London.

We came here for a late lunch and had the all you can eat option, we had three rounds each consisting of 6 items. The food was really good and a good value for money. The staff were really nice. And we left happy and full. Would definitely recommend.

We came at lunch time for the buffet, which is where you pay 24.80 pp and can have as many dishes as you want- just a few examples are sushi, ramen, miso soup, prawn toast, tempura and noodles! Such a variety of dishes to choose from! The service is absolutely top notch- so friendly and they give you sesame oil, sweet chilli sauce, soy sauce, wasabi and ginger on the table for you and they also frequently top water up and take away your plates for you. For the buffet, they give you a sheet and you tick which dishes you want (up to 6 per person per round) and then they serve them to you as they are ready! Everything was SO fresh and piping hot and so authentic! Absolutely highly recommend if you’re a sushi lover but also just general Japanese/Asian cuisine lover because there is SO much to choose from! We ended up ordering the maximum of 12 dishes for the first round (there was 2 of us) and then 4 dishes for the 2nd round! But we were fully full after 6 dishes each! Some dishes are bigger than others too which is really nice. Will definitely be going here again!

Had an excellent experience here with my partner last Friday! The buffet menu includes not just the sushi but many other items such as miso soup, gyoza, chicken katsu etc all of which was very tasty! The quality of the sushi and sashimi was very good and the staff were friendly and helpful, would highly recommend this place and I'm looking forward to going here again next time I'm in London 😊
