Went for a roast the other Sunday and it was super nice. Sat in the back outside and was all round a lovely afternoon. Banging roast. Good beer! DEYA on tap!

Very friendly team and a gorgeous pub with a lot going on! Defiently a regular stop off for us and 2 for one on double gin and tonics, there's isn't really any room to complain!
Very happy with the draft and beer selection, can't wait to try the food next!
Jordan Montlake
We enjoyed great pizza and drinks in the beer garden! And, Freddie even drew a shamrock in my Guinness! Amazing.

Went for the gin tasting day and had the best time ever! And they do this once a year.. The food they had was amazing and fairly priced, the free Gin was tasty so you knew what to order at the bar later on. The dance floor was vibing and all in all a wonderful and convenient location 10/10

A fine pub. £5.80 for an Amstel. Smelt like roast beef when we visited on a Tuesday evening.
George Antoniadis
Charming gastro pub! Delightful outdoor space, perfect for sunny days. Good food, but not something standout unfortunately. The added pool and darts add a fun touch to the experience. Was really quiet on a Tuesday.

Fantastic local boozer serving a huge selection of Gins. They also have a 241 offer on double G&Ts! Epic. We tried the margarita pizza which was very well made and rustic. Definitely recommend walking a little outside of Camden for Indie pubs like this! 🍺

Went for pub quiz and had a great time. The usual taps, and all business bar tenders, but no negatives. Fun crowd.

So we had lunch and it was spectacular. The sausages are made by the cousin of the brother-in-law of one of the Chefs. This in itself isn't relevant to anything except this is a family worth marrying in to if sausages are your thing. As for the rest of the meal it's the fiddly bits that make the difference. The sauces are nuanced with hints and echoes of flavours that demonstrate the kinds of tricks that earn you a Michelin star.

Hidden away on the outskirts of Camden, we have a hidden gem which goes by the name of The Colonel Fawcett..
This pub boasts both a front and back garden area, which you can choose from to be in the shade or sun..
The cocktails were prepared perfectly, all praise to the bartender 🙌🏼
Customer service was brilliant 👏🏼
5* Would recommend based on overall experience 👍🏼

Went here to try the pub quiz which was a lot of fun and the host made sure it was personalised and very enjoyable - highly recommend!!
Prices were a little high but they had a great deal on 2for1 double gins! With great seating indoors and out! ✨ staff were lovely

Great pub to go for really good quality food and drinks. We went for Saturday brunch and I had the fish cake with spinach, kedgeree sauce and a perfectly poached egg which was delicious! There were lots of other options on the menu to choose from as well as sides and a quite reasonably priced 'Bottomless Brunch' option with unlimited Mimosas and Bloody Mary's. The only downside to my visit was that we had to wait a while and ask more than once for condiments after our meals came but the quality of the food made up for that :)

Had a fantastic time at The Colonel Fawcett!
One of the best pub quizzes in town and the vibe was fantastic.
Joel and Freddy were absolutely fantastic hosts and Ben, being the host of the pub quiz was great!
Never thought a Wednesday night would be this fun!
Cheers to the entire team!

Decent pub. Good space, really good staff and the food is a cut above. Limited menu but very well made. It's almost a great craft beer range but tends to play it safe, which is a shame given their investment in plenty of taps. The atmosphere is always comfortable and relaxed and they have a large upstairs room. Feels more like a good middle of the road village pub, which is a welcome change.

I would highly recommend the Colonel Fawcett for any function. Just had a ‘roundy’ birthday here. I did most of the arranging remotely and Joel was great to deal with. On the day everything was perfect and my guests were really happy - great food and beer and excellent service by all the staff

Beautiful pub, great beers and friendly, knowledgeable, hard working staff. The roasts on Sunday are some of the best around - book if you want one though. One of those pubs where it's all done well and you can just relax.

Just when you thought these guys had it nailed they come out with a Collab with the guys at Pass Time. A true meeting of minds and methods, the carefully cultivated beer and wine selection compliments the small plates beautifully. Just a light grazing for us in the sun today so didn't get to explore any of the wine list or larger plates but that's what we're coming back for soon. Top marks all round for a job well done!

Lovely place to have an evening drink. A little off if the beaten path and well worth every second! The staff was great and full of information & great suggestions.

Have a soft spot for The Colonel Fawcett and I find myself there quite often with friends and may I just say the roast dinner (chicken) I had on Sunday 18/3 was AMAZING!!! They've taken it up a notch for sure. Excellent pub, really friendly staff, great service. I can't fault it really. Keep it up! P.S. oh yeah...small note - the crumble... needs more crumble over the fruit bit! Like, way, way, way more crumble. Apart from that, all good! ;)

Great food, beer, staff and atmosphere. Roasts are to die for.

My fave pub in London. I crave the roast which I think is the best in London (and so does my dog!)
Anthi Valavani
Love this! Every time I come here I feel very welcome, the food is always very good and my dog is always treated well and gets a water bowl immediately! So glad it's my local pub!

Amazing Saturday brunch deal, bottomless mimosas and a banging fry up (or healthy avocado things if you're so inclined) yum!
Misan Thrope
We had to try it after friends raved about the Sunday roast and, luckily, the lovely barstaff were able to squeeze us in. Amazing food and attentive, welcoming staff. Already planning to return on our next visit to London.
Mary Looby
Bottomless brunch is AMAZING! Great value for money, cool pub and lovely staff. The poached egg, avocado, chorizo on sourdough is 👌 Will be coming back again and again.
Linda Nguyen
Quite place to share moments in family and sunday roast even if it is situated next to Camden Town ! And they have a huge choice of gins (could be interesting) !
Jak Kaufman

Fab Sunday lunch with friends, great service and A tasty selection of gins. Downside - Yorkshire puddings were overdone.

One Saturday morning, just as my hangover was dawning I managed to drag some friends to the Colonel Fawcett for brunch to sort myself out. Actually this is slightly exaggerated – their brunch runs from 11am to 3pm on Saturdays and I think we were there in the afternoon when the girls had finished yoga. The hangover part is true though :s

Spread the news! What a great hidden pub in the Camden area. Away from the high street, this joint slips under the radar... Con: fewer people are aware of its presence, Pro: it's one of the odd places you can actually get a table on a Sunday without having to book a week ahead. Was so impressed by the tender pork roast! The vegetables were just to die for. The chefs aren't stingy with portion size and sauce. Unfortunately the Yorkshire pudding had more of a crunch than the desired chewy flakiness. Interesting take on desserts. They've definitely ticked the unique, innovative box with the semolina custard with pistachios and raspberries. Perhaps some old favourites would be good to accompany the bold options. Beautiful produce and ingredients. Would love to enjoy a drink outside in the booths next time... when it's not pouring down so much. Decor is a bit standard compared to the competition, but as soon as you taste the roast, your eyes will be shut as you take in the rich flavours.
Les Greedy Cochons
...great, delicious, traditional pub food. Offerings include everything you could want from a pub such as the ‘Colonel Fawcett Pork Burger with Caramelised Apple’, ’Beer Battered Coley, Pea & Mint Puree and Hand-cut Chips’ and also some more adventurous mains like the ‘Duck Breast & Confit Leg with Gooseberry Chutney and Potato Fondant’ all at a very reasonable price. They also have lunch and daily specials that are well worth checking out, ranging from Salt Beef Sandwiches to Ox Heart Salads. Anything that can be made in-house is, from the chutneys to the bread, and the ingredients are sourced from family-run farms wherever possible. Those of you who are feeling parched can choose from a wide selection of ales or wash it all down with a G&T
Alexandra Sims
I think this is a great pub off the tourist trails of Camden. Staff are always friendly and the drinks are fair. High ceiling and plenty of space inside with a nice beer garden both sheltered and open.
