Lovely place to have an evening drink. A little off if the beaten path and well worth every second! The staff was great and full of information & great suggestions.
Great food & service good - servers kept our drinks topped up (we had the brunch menu) & were very friendly. Loved it
One Saturday morning, just as my hangover was dawning I managed to drag some friends to the Colonel Fawcett for brunch to sort myself out. Actually this is slightly exaggerated – their brunch runs from 11am to 3pm on Saturdays and I think we were there in the afternoon when the girls had finished yoga. The hangover part is true though :s
Spread the news! What a great hidden pub in the Camden area. Away from the high street, this joint slips under the radar... Con: fewer people are aware of its presence, Pro: it's one of the odd places you can actually get a table on a Sunday without having to book a week ahead. Was so impressed by the tender pork roast! The vegetables were just to die for. The chefs aren't stingy with portion size and sauce. Unfortunately the Yorkshire pudding had more of a crunch than the desired chewy flakiness. Interesting take on desserts. They've definitely ticked the unique, innovative box with the semolina custard with pistachios and raspberries. Perhaps some old favourites would be good to accompany the bold options. Beautiful produce and ingredients. Would love to enjoy a drink outside in the booths next time... when it's not pouring down so much. Decor is a bit standard compared to the competition, but as soon as you taste the roast, your eyes will be shut as you take in the rich flavours.
...great, delicious, traditional pub food. Offerings include everything you could want from a pub such as the ‘Colonel Fawcett Pork Burger with Caramelised Apple’, ’Beer Battered Coley, Pea & Mint Puree and Hand-cut Chips’ and also some more adventurous mains like the ‘Duck Breast & Confit Leg with Gooseberry Chutney and Potato Fondant’ all at a very reasonable price. They also have lunch and daily specials that are well worth checking out, ranging from Salt Beef Sandwiches to Ox Heart Salads. Anything that can be made in-house is, from the chutneys to the bread, and the ingredients are sourced from family-run farms wherever possible. Those of you who are feeling parched can choose from a wide selection of ales or wash it all down with a G&T
I think this is a great pub off the tourist trails of Camden. Staff are always friendly and the drinks are fair. High ceiling and plenty of space inside with a nice beer garden both sheltered and open.
Went for a roast the other Sunday and it was super nice. Sat in the back outside and was all round a lovely afternoon. Banging roast. Good beer! DEYA on tap!

The manager, Joel, has great energy and made us feel super welcome!
Very friendly team and a gorgeous pub with a lot going on! Defiently a regular stop off for us and 2 for one on double gin and tonics, there's isn't really any room to complain!
Very happy with the draft and beer selection, can't wait to try the food next!
We enjoyed great pizza and drinks in the beer garden! And, Freddie even drew a shamrock in my Guinness! Amazing.
Went for the gin tasting day and had the best time ever! And they do this once a year.. The food they had was amazing and fairly priced, the free Gin was tasty so you knew what to order at the bar later on. The dance floor was vibing and all in all a wonderful and convenient location 10/10
A fine pub. £5.80 for an Amstel. Smelt like roast beef when we visited on a Tuesday evening.
Charming gastro pub! Delightful outdoor space, perfect for sunny days. Good food, but not something standout unfortunately. The added pool and darts add a fun touch to the experience. Was really quiet on a Tuesday.
Fantastic local boozer serving a huge selection of Gins. They also have a 241 offer on double G&Ts! Epic. We tried the margarita pizza which was very well made and rustic. Definitely recommend walking a little outside of Camden for Indie pubs like this! 🍺
Went for pub quiz and had a great time. The usual taps, and all business bar tenders, but no negatives. Fun crowd.
So we had lunch and it was spectacular. The sausages are made by the cousin of the brother-in-law of one of the Chefs. This in itself isn't relevant to anything except this is a family worth marrying in to if sausages are your thing. As for the rest of the meal it's the fiddly bits that make the difference. The sauces are nuanced with hints and echoes of flavours that demonstrate the kinds of tricks that earn you a Michelin star.
