Excellent food !! Try Miang and Som Tam you will love them. Others are nice too. Very authentic taste - comment from Thais :) Sebby can make Som Tam better than me ^ ^

Honestly one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Every dish was amazing from start to finish, including the crispy aubergine which was life changing! The servers were attentive and knowledgeable about every dish. Can’t wait to come back again :)

We had such a fantastic meal here, every dish blew me away. It doesn’t have any of the usual Thai dishes (e.g. Pad Thai) - instead it’s a highly original menu. Everything was so full of flavour and had a good level of spiciness. Service and atmosphere was great.

Ridiculously delicious. I only had the veggie dishes and they were SO GOOD. (Non veggie dishes in the pictures are friends’ meals). Packed up my leftovers because we really ordered way too much, and I can’t wait to eat them tomorrow. Also the team were lovely. Can’t wait to go back!

Beautifully crafted, delicious dishes and excellent service. Atmosphere was relaxed and the background music was gentle enough that my mother and I could have a decent conversation. We opted for the tasting menu as it was a special occasion and we weren’t disappointed. Favourites were the salted turmeric prawn ‘miang’ bites of toasted coconut & peanut caramel with sour fruits, served in an edible betel leaf, the Gai Prik’ - Crispy Thai battered chicken (free range/high welfare), fish sauce glaze, blood orange, herbs and lime, plus the vegan crispy blooming onion aromatic coconut curry with wok smoked vegetables, pickles & ginger — was served with 'hom mali' jasmine rice and salted curry leaf, turmeric & garlic butter roti. I would have given 5 stars but they didn’t have the vegan sorbet on the menu (raspberry and pineapple) so that left us slightly disappointed. I also would like to see the juices upgraded to fresh! The bottled orange juice was very substandard after living in Cyprus and Cape Town for years, where everything is fresh. Arrive hungry!

Had a reservation there for Saturday evening. We arrived at the restaurant and we were immediately shown to a table for two. Once seated, we were given the menus and asked for a bottle of tap water. As we were trying to decide if we should get the sea bass as a large plate to share between two people, the waiter recommended that the dish would be enough for two people. However, from previous experience with this kind of fish, we chose individual curries instead. Our order was: prawn crackers as snacks, Miang, Gai Prik, Prawns Gătit, Beef curry, jasmine rice and two turmeric roti. The first to arrive were the prawn crackers, which were nice and crispy. Next was the Miang, which basically are leaves with a filling of prawns, nuts and herbs. There were only three on a plate which costs £9, a bit steep in our opinion. Up next was the Gai Prik, which are fried chicken fillets -3 pieces in the plate - with a sauce. The texture was nice and crispy and the chicken was flavourful. Thinking back, we wished we had this instead of the Miang. Our mains, the beef/prawns curry with rice and two rotis were the last ones. The beef curry was on the sweeter side, whereas the prawn one had a strong fire to it. The rotis were very crispy, with a nice hint of salt. During our meal we were given a check back, and at the end we were asked if we wanted any deserts or coffees. But as we were full already, we had to turn that down. The curries are on the expensive side and they do not include rice. The 3 stuffed leaves are something that can be avoided altogether. Nonetheless, this place deserves 5 stars overall.

We had a fantastic experience. Food was fresh, well presented, delicious, and in reasonable quantities. I'd definitely recommend the roti and the veg currie. Atmosphere is casual and relaxed, and staff was very kind. Looking forward to coming back!

We love Roti and fried chicken !!! Thai flavour with creativity. The only thing we are not a fan so much is the curry base, far TOO SWEET. It kind of shadow the good mixing fresh spices. Overall we are happy with their creation and will come back to try more.

It was a journey and we really loved it. All the food was very good and very interesting, the only thing was that it was quite spicy. I didn’t mind but for someone who doesn’t like spice I would advice to speak to the staff.

Amazing place for Thai food! Farang is an award winning restaurant and definitely loves up to those accolades. The food was very flavourful and a perfect combination of textures. We got the gai prik chicken, the crispy sea bass, the prawn curry, and the turmeric roti - and all of them impressed! The sea bass was flaky and crispy, the curry was deep and aromatic, and the chicken was super crunchy and spicy. If you’re in the mood for Thai food, I’d definitely recommend giving Farang a try - it’s worth it!

Book now even before reading the reviews. This award winning restaurant is in demand. The food is utterly delicious. It is music to your taste buds. I will definitely be back. They even have heat at home pre-packaged fare, but I think you should enjoy the real experience as served fresh from their kitchen first.
