We went for a sneaky drink but ended up having a snack or two. Now being South African we are still getting accustomed to all the different types of foods but my goodness Mac cheese balls are just too delicious. We also got the steak bites(which melted in your mouth) with Cambridge sauce and ended up dipping the Mac cheese ball in there too.Overall great meal and only downside would be the price...bit expensive.

This is the place where I always go back with the smile. Drinks are always at their best and the guys that run the pub are making this place special keeping up their professionalism mixed with a genuine hospitality that makes you feel comfortable and happy. Always get the best service and great atmosphere. The bar staff always have a smile on their face and very knowledgeable. Great team, great atmosphere, great time! Would recommend to anyone in the area.

Joined for Christmas Day lunch here. Absolutely fantastic! The staff were brilliant, the food was phenomenal and the wine list is suitably broad. The only complaint is there is only cold water in the bathroom so not very hygienic imho (odd for such a nice place). Hopefully they fix this, definitely recommended!

We enjoyed a lovely supper at Brown Cow this week. The restaurant was quiet (it was a Monday evening) and certainly deserved to be busier. The food was delicious and service was very friendly. Top marks!

I feel I ought to praise the staff who works in the Brown Cow. I went pass here for the first time and asked whether they have a specific (hot) drink menu (e.g. hot chocolate). The answer was no but the barperson followed this on and signposted me to a café which was some shops further down the road where I could taste my favourite drink. I feel that the barperson was very customer-centred who genuinely cares about customers’ needs rather than their own business or profit making. I am feel very thankful and impressed.
