Not much to look at but what fabulous food. Warm welcome. Take your own drink. I think this is the best Indian food I’ve ever tasted. Will definitely go again
Always a treat when a restaurant has such friendly staff with great recommendations on the menu to continually improve your experience, time and time again.
Absolutely fantastic food, ordered kebab rolls, chicken and lamb Karahi, biryani, Chanda masala and firni and it was all excusite. The best authentic food I have had by far and the service was amazing very friendly staff and quick aswell, it was a pleasure will definitely return
I'v been going to this place seen I was a young kids and to tell you that it's had been the same seen day 1. And nothing has changed. The food is amazing here and the fact that you can bring your own bottle and enjoy yourself. And it's open till late and the service and staff are always good and helpful. It's a must go and try.
A bit of an institution in this area!! The decor is as basic as you can get, couple that with the authenticity of the food and the very reasonable price and you're onto a winner. Don't be fooled by the more glamorous looking establishments down the road this is definitely worth a visit. We ordered a couple of starters and the full chicken curry between 4 of us and we still had some leftovers. Sheekh kebab starters were nice and spicy and the chicken curry was tender and flavoursome. The chicken pieces were cut much smaller than you'd usually find and it worked very well. Miso full!
Truly the best chickpeas I’ve ever had - my partner who doesn’t like pulses couldn’t get enough. The saag paneer and methi chicken we also excellent. It’s open late and very friendly, so great for an impromptu dinner out. Quantities are generous. And despite its success, you can tell that Lahore One continues to makes cooking great food a priority.
What a place! We stopped by for a dinner and apart from being tiny bit spicy (but that’s not a surprise), it was all so very tasty! The naan bread, the chicken meals, kebab, all was super tasty and very cheap! Very recommended!

That's the kind of place, where you want to spend your evening.
Food is amazing, the stuff really friendly and honest and the music is the cherry on the cake.
Went for it thinking it'll be a complete pakistani restaurant but they serve Indian Pakistani and banhaladeshi food. Had Methi Chicken and thr lamb. These were delicious. As a person who doesn't eat too much chicken this was delicious. Potions are really good. Fills you up for sure.
For desserts we had Kheer. It was my first time and that was delicious as well.
Prices are also really good and affordable.
My boyfriend and I had the best time here! So delicious!
The karahi chicken was super gingery and amazing and hubby really enjoyed his lamb biryani xxx
Booked a table reservation for 6 people. Our family have been coming to Lahore One sporadically for over 35 years.
Lahore One specialises in a few dishes, which is worth the travel and time for; Channa, Chicken Karahi, Kebabs and my favourite Asian dessert, Kheer - which is a rice pudding.
We reserved in advance, as this place can get busy on weekends. Its casual, cafe like style is very low key and just offers good food. Don’t expect the service to be of Michelin level, but it is polite enough. You can bring your own alcohol, which is a nice touch. The menu is concise and doesn’t have the usual items you’ll see in other Indian/Pakistani restaurants, so be warned.
The restaurant is fairly clean and comfortable but advise not to sit next to the bathroom upstairs.
I recommend the dishes listed above and it is worth a trip.
Always the best !!!!!!!
Get chickpea chana 2 popadums , lamb karai and 2 roti and have a kulfi for dessert 😊
Amazing Kulfi and best Saag I've had, I didn't even feel like I was eating greens haha
Great chilli naan too
One of our go-to indian takeaway, we definitely need to try to eat there next time. The food is fresh and spicy, really feels homemade (very oily though). We had the saag gosht lamb, saag aloo, karahi chicken and chana. All were excellent and i would have them again.
Update: had dine in and it's still excellent
Another update: another excellent meal at Lahore One tonight! Also tried the sheesh kebabs and the kheer for dessert, all 5/5
Exceptionally consistent (we go every week), great value for money, and service with a smile. If you want a slice of the old East End start in the Hungerford Arms, next door and end here.
