Royal Nepalese

A very easy 5 star review. Very tasty food and amazing service always make for a great combination. When you add reasonable prices, this transforms a good meal out into the perfect experience. Had a wonderful time at Royal Nepalese, and was also extremely happy to see they take dietary requirements and food intolerances very seriously. We are already planning our next meal there!

(Pescatarian) I used to get it delivered but then it may not have been viable so it was discontinued to my area unfortunately. So one day, I decided to visit for a birthday. It's a bit hidden off the main road so be mindful of that. Eventually, there was only one other guest there on that cold rainy weekday which I liked. Love the effort put into the deco and atmosphere and, the staff were attentive and helpful. I love the veggie momos and usually order the paneer dishes as the others aren't to my liking (I've tried the daal, Tandoori seafood and some others), the mixed veg dish isn't too bad and i get the prawn biryani occasionally. Only criticism I have is that for whatever reason, the soft music stopped halfway, it's only open for a dinner service I think, the bathroom needs attention (a mirror and deco would be nice), the prices are mid-range for me, there wasn't a birthday treat (unless you count the complimentary sweet) and the mains were a bit under-seasoned on this rare occasion.

Have been a customer of this wonderful restaurant for the last 15 years, usually take-away but dine-in every once in a while. Their food is always extremely good to outstanding. My favourites are Veg Momos followed by luminous(!) green Chicken Hariyali, Sag Paneer and Mushroom Rice, exquisite, but wear shades when you eat it! The owners and staff are always very friendly and attentive. I think only once have they ever got my order slightly wrong and I must have ordered getting on for 80 times from there.
