Simply the best casual Italian restaurant in town. The calamari is astronomically good. The meatballs without rival. Staff treat you like family and the service is all smiles. Feel thoroughly at home here. I do, and have done for 20 years.
Considering we turned up wasted, the staff were 100% happy with us ordering expensive wines because we couldn't read the menu and the food was 10/10, will recommend it to friends and will return sober.
Last night 15 of us went to Buona Sera for a 50th birthday celebration. We took the £20 ahead party menu. For this we got mixed platters of 'chef's starters', garlic pizza bread, a great choice of mains, dessert and coffee. They really did us proud. The mixed starters just kept coming. There was SO much food. Loads of anitipasti, creative salads, then just as we thought we'd had everything, huge platters of mussels and clams arrived! We could barely manage to eat it all, and there were still mains and desserts to come! The service was brilliant and they did everything they could to assist us. My family, who all travelled up from Hampshire, were very impressed; a couple said it was one of the best meals they'd eaten out. I've always liked this place, but last night they surpassed themselves. Brilliant!
We just walked passed this place and decided to give it a try on a Saturday and it was extremely busy. Service was quick and efficient, they arranged a table for us in no time. We ordered stuffed mushroom.. although the gravy was nice but the mushrooms itself seemed frozen. The pizza was perfect thin crust as i like.
The food here is very reasonably priced and in my opinion the pizzas here are among the best I've tasted. This one particular starter is among our favorite and we always order it when we go there. It contains baked aubergines with mozzarella and tomato sauce. The ambiance is very relaxed and just perfect for a lazy and easy meal. It is quite a family restaurant and can get noisy, however, this is what provides it the friendly atmosphere.
We had arrived just 5 minutes before closing and even then we were treated very nicely. The staff does not rush you and lets you get comfortable. the food was really good. The pizza was not the best ever but was not bad either. the prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. Shall return again!
This place is your solution to a value for money meal if in the neighbourhood. If one is okay with a slightly disappointing service but a fairly decent meal, this place might not disappoint you as much.
I visited this lace last Saturday and I must say that it got crowded as the evening set in.

I visited this place with my partner a couple of days back and unexpectedly, ordered something that was not on the menu. The server consulted with the kitchen and the dish was served to me with a choice of pasta and sauce. My personalized dinner was delightful and the dish tasted amazing.
I was flattered by the service and a free amaretto with the bill made it a lovely evening.
I have been frequenting this place a lot with people from work. Despite being packed always, their service never disappoints. The staff is careful to never ignore. The food here is great and I came by yesterday again. This time with my partner. As always the service was par excellence and the portions of food rather generous. A complementary shot of Limoncello was great.
You sure can visit here with your family and I assure you that you won't come out with disappointment .
I went there with my daughter, they had good choice of food. We had steak, salmon and white fish and all of it was cooked so perfectly that I ordered more.
The staff was very polite and friendly they always attend you with a big smile on their face.
I would recommend it to everyone. Go there and have a quality time with your family and give a treat to your stomach too.
Located in an area where there are a gazillion different joints to choose from ,this place makes it mark pretty evident. The interiors very spacious but an error in my opinion is in the designing as the tiling makes the place conducive to echo and so it gets noisy on packed nights!
The ambiance however is pretty happy with all types of people enjoying themselves there. The service is pretty hospitable. We were offered a free drink at the time of billing!
On to the food, the meals are delicious and served hot.They are also appropriately priced owing to the filling portions.
I will definitely return.
This place offers authentic Italian cuisine. It is an interesting place to try pasta and pizzas from a fairly diverse menu. The nature of the place feels full of life and is always noisy. It may be difficult to strike a conversation with someone, but one does not fret this.
The restaurant is about 6 minute walk from the Clapham Junction station. There we’re seating available outside and inside. Apart from the standard menu there was a today’s special menu too. Really good choice of starters and mains were available. Some vegetarian and vegan dishes were on the menu too. My chickpea and vegetable soup was average but the rabbit dish tasted good. Food and drinks were reasonably priced and the customer service was good. The atmosphere was very vibrant although the restaurant was very busy and loud.
Brilliant experience start to finish, really friendly wait staff, who couldn't do more to help including allowing us to change tables from outside to in after my elderly mother started feeling the cold. The food was fantastic and the specials were beautiful. 100% will be back
The staff here were amazing. I miscalculated the number of seats I needed and they were so kind and helpful in providing another table and chair for us.
They provided a nice surprise for my birthday which I didn't expect and I am very appreciative of the gesture.
The food was great and I'm looking forward to dining here again.

Love this restaurant. We always get the calamari/zucchini and then one of the lovely pasta dishes. Really friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Always busy. Would definitely recommend - very reasonable for the area too!
One of best pizzas I’ve had and probably best in London! A crispy and light base with generous toppings that don’t slide off. So impressed!
Staff were friendly and attentive and food was so quick too.
Can’t wait to come back - won’t be going anywhere else!

Very nice, big open with different seating areas, the menu was basic and no nonsense, it catered for the whole family. It also had a welcoming energy that made you feel at home and relaxed.
However the seats were slightly worn out and I had to change mine to a more stable one.
When the food arrived the garlic bread was very nice, it reminded me of Persian bread, on the other hand make sure you order few different the main dishes because they do tiny portions, and compared to other places, thé pana cota was not nice.
But I 💯 recommend it for atmosphere and large group gatherings.
A warm welcome, spacious dining, Italian decor and authentic!
Have been before buy most recently held a Baby Shower here, the staff were friendly and accommodating.

Absolutely phenomenal service last night at Buonasera - not to even mention how tasty the food was! Me and a few friends spontaneously came here and they couldn’t have been any more accommodating if they tried. Nico, our waiter, was very sweet, charming and didn’t forget any of our requirements (we had a few to say the least 🤦🏼♂️)
The manager even introduced himself to us and made sure that we was having a great time and was very helpful in paring our wines with our dishes. My favourite is in my photos, must try.
I wish that I had more images of the food, but there is some photos of the delicious desserts that we ordered including the cheesecake which was LUSH 😍

Fabulous restaurant. We’ve been here many times over the last 20 years or so. Popped in today for lunch. The pizzas were exquisite and the service was exemplary
