Gilgamesh offers a selection of the finest exotic signature pan-Asian dishes and menus, influenced by the cuisine of South East Asia, China and Japan. Including delicious master-crafted Sushi and an extensive Dim Sum selection.
We’ve decided to choose several different dishes to share from the extensive menu that covers variety of: dim sum, tempuras, salads, robatas, wok dishes, curry, not forgetting fantastic selection of sushi.
It was difficult to choose as we both love any Asian food but finally we’ve decided to have:
• Spicy Tuna Rolls from classic makizushi menu
• Prawn Spring Rolls, Prawn Har Gau and Pork Siu Mai from Dim Sum menu
• Teriyaki Beef filet from Robata Meat menu
All this beautiful food washed with a carafe of lovely Chenin Blanc. As a genuinely lovely surprise I’ve been also given very tasty portion of ‘birthday’ ice-creams.
We both enjoyed the whole experience and would recommend it. It’s not cheap but everyone deserves a treat like this on a special occasion.
I went here on a buy a gift deal - so I can't really comment on the price.
The food was lovely and well prepared, the drinks were also great and a large selection of wine was available. The restaurant is massive and is decorated in a wonderful way throughout (including the loos!).
In the summer the roof opens up which I'm sure would add to the atmosphere of the place.
Fantastic food and atmosphere (though it was a little cold, temperature wise). Host could have been a lot more personable but Mattia, the manager on duty who took over our table, was absolutely amazing! What a star. He was extremely personable, very on the ball remembering my allergies and checking on us just the right amount of times. He went above and beyond to ensure we had a great evening and we certainly did! This was my second time and the first time was excellent with great service too but this was just beyond! I was using the tastecard but never felt like I was being treated like a second class guest as some restaurants do to tastecard holders.
Food was delicious though the Thai green curry was rather spicy (great flavour though!). The sushi was amazing and was presented beautifully with a box of dry ice billowing "smoke" over the table.
Would absolutely go again.

Nice and unusual venue. Lovely food all tasty and generous portions. Staff friendly. Toilets left a lot to be desired, more than 6 cubicle without toilet paper.
Went on a Sunday and had a lovely time. We were seated quickly and the guy on the door was very pleasant. The waiting staff were all attentive and our waiter was friendly and offered his own recommendations on the menu. The food was incredible. Perfectly cooked and seasoned, the flavours were all just right for the dishes, nothing too overwhelming and nothing too subtle. As a group of 4 we all had something different and no-one was disappointed. The decor was beautiful, and the whole place was very relaxing, you almost had no idea that Camden high-street was just outside. Great time, great food and great place.

Got free entry to the club after dinner, had a great night dancing our feet off. The music is really loud! Be prepared to come out slightly deaf.
Cocktail are a bit watered down and pricey.

Great food but quite pricey. Lovely ambience and atmosphere but when they have a live singer it's just too loud and you can't have a conversation with someone. Drinks are also pricey. It's a nice place, quite big and has a few bars to accommodate varying styles of music. Been here a few times and like it.
Had a lovely meal at this unusual, beautiful and ambient restaurant. The service was fantastic, our waiter was very attentive and friendly and advised us truthfully his opinions of menu choices. Cocktails were very nice too. a great experience.
Absolutely wonderful restaurant. This is more on the expensive side, but it is perfect for a special night out. There are tons of different choices and very unique food, especially the black rice dishes. The decor is exquisite, wood carvings everywhere. Also a great place to go for drinks, they have tons of fresh fruit cocktails and the bar area is lovely.
We booked a table using a Virgin experience day afternoon tea with 'free flowing prosecco' and after reading the reviews here were honestly dreading it. Our booking was for 1 pm, and even with a bustling crowd Gilgamesh was a real treat from beginning to end. The decor is honestly stunning, but more importantly the various staff who served us were all friendly and attentive. The prosecco was cool, refreshing, and they certainly kept it coming! The food that we were served wasn't piping hot but in this case I didn't mind since it was all finger food and we took our time over it. All of our particular tastes were catered for, with enough selection that everyone left completely satisfied. I'd happily visit again. It's possible negative feedback has set changes in motion at the establishment because we had a wonderful afternoon.
