Recently we had an opportunity to visit this restaurant after we have been at different eateries in the hood.
Other two places close to Needoo had noise level of close to 70 dB, food was marginal, service lousy and disjointed. Seemed like a noisy Pub and less of a gourmet restaurant.
Needoo had the best food, best service, perfect ambiance and authentic Lahore food. I can still taste aroma of grilled lamb chops, skewered kabobs and buttered naan breads topped with quick and courteous service. We highly recommend Needoo. Congrats to Naveed Khan and his team. Keep it up.
It really does beat the rest in the area for consistency of food and value for money. The kebabs are all succulent and tasty with a fiery sting unless you ask for them to be mild, the shish kebabs are always a little on the hot side but very very tasty. The fish tilka cooked served in a foil package with onion is a must. We rarely have mains but when we do both the korai's, meat and chicken are amazing as is the legendary dry meant curry, never tasted anything like it before. The breads especially roti are fresh, hot and also a must. For the veggies the dhal and aubergine were full of flavour, the right consistency as in not runny or too dry. Mix that with a BYO policy and you have a winner.
Great biryani and the seekh kebabs are absolutely brilliant
Great, juicy and flavoursome food here. Their kebabs are very nicely done, chicken is perfectly marinated as a lot of flavour oozes out of it from every single bite. Priced nicely. Great quality food!
I am spiritually attached to this place. Nothing does grilled meats like this place. I am always satisfied and full afterwards.
From experience the best option is
-grilled meats and paneer
-Dahl baingun
-Dry meat curry
Also totally fulfilling for vegetarians.
lamb biryani and pumpkin curry used to last me a week of meals and has been the most reminisced of London foods since I left. ME AND MY HUBBY HAVE BEEN ALWAYS GOING THERE IF WE WANT BENGALI/INDIAN FOOD AS IT CANT BE MISSED.. THE BIRYANI PORTION IS JUST ON POINT BUT THE ONLY DOWN SIDE IS THE CURRIES ARE A LITTLE TO SMALL FOR THE PRICE THEY CHARGE BUT APART FROM THAT ITS AN AMAZING PLACE.. ALL STAFF ARE POLITE
Tried as tayyabs was quiet crowded and no one was attending even after waiting for sometime. Entered this place as its quiet closeby and had good reviews on zomato. This place was also full for a weekday dinner but quickly got a table. Had chicken tikka and seekh kebab in starters. Chicken was average but seekh kebab was good. Also they serve 3 type of chutneys which were quiet good. Karahi chicken was ok and nan was good. Overall the food was good and service was definitely good.
One of the best restaurants in London. Real Pakistani food, great value, spicy flavoursome, everything is delicious the Daighi is incredible, eat here.
Its a nice little place very busy and the food isnt always as consistent. However they still serve up some mouthwatering dishes and good for the weekday family eat out or just meet up with friends.
Tasty but Oily. Have gone here a few times, though only used the takeaway option. Has a good palak paneer, kebabs and naans. But sometimes can be on the oily side, so worth emphasizing to the staff to reduce oil in your order

I'm giving this four stars as overall as I do like the place. The lamb shops are sublime, however it is getting very pricey for what it is. Small dishes are now hitting £11.50 plus they provide a bottle of water but then will charge you if you drink it & there is not the option of tap water (if there is, it's certainly wasn't offered).
Great place but please up your game. I want to continue coming here and recommending people I know. Little touches go a long way.
Service is friendly but things like when to bring out certain dishes are pretty much guaranteed to be ignored.
Also, police do not provide any plastic cutlery (see picture) especially if you were charging a relative premium.
Friendly staff. Quick service. The interior hasn’t changed in the last 6-7 years. The food was relatively good. However portion sizes have reduced. The Naan was fresh and soft. The chicken biriyani was slightly dry but was full of flavour.
We were given complimentary karak chai.
I ordered meat biryani and instead they brought meat Pulao and I was surprised when I asked the waiter if this is meat Pulao or biryani and he said it’s the same thing 😄. I told them this is not biryani and asked for biryani just to taste and how it looks like ,staff was kind enough to give a plate of biryani separately and didn’t charge for biryani. I must say their special lamb pulao with the gravy was amazing and overpowering biryani. A must try

Food was lovely and brought to the table really quickly. The restaurant was very busy, unfortunately every table seemed squished upstairs. You could hear lots of people's conversations. Wheelchair access would be difficult due to stairs taking you up. Also there was only 1 toilet for a restaurant which has a high capacity? I'll definable be returning as the food was worth the price and tasted fantastic. We didn't even need to wait long for the food to be served.
We had a really delightful meal here. All vegetarian dishes. The okra curry was really outstanding.
Mango lassi didn't taste good so after telling the waiter they made it again which tasted really good. Food is nice love the naans chana curry and meat . Chops are lovely too
The kebab roll was delicious highly recommend it comes with fresh naan, and it was less than £5—cheap and cheerful food.
They also accept card payments.
Me and my family crave this food often. The lamb samosas are big and juicy, and have a lot of filling inside. The lamb ribs are beautiful and seasoned so well. I have also tried some of the curry dishes which are great.
Banging food, as usual, but the service has gone down hill, so had the place, definitely needs a good clean up!!! Haven't been in a long time after being a regular for so many years, don't let this place go downhill please!!!!
There's a fly problem for sure, they need to fix it. I must have killed 8 sat in my seat.. had to cover everything on the table🤦🏽♀️
