Gargotte is a stunning addition to the Fitzrovia neighbourhood. We love the 4pm 'til 7pm Happy Hour Crémant. Thank you for opening such a gorgeous place. We love it!

Love everything about this little gem. Great French wine, top quality charcuterie and cheese to boot. Thank you for putting the effort in to create such a great atmosphere, we’ll be back again.

Wonderful unique and charming place with a friendly host. Beautiful decor french bistro style with the most amazing very large ornate mirror. Simple classic french food ideal to accompany the chilled french rose wine. A real treat and refreshing change from all the average chains and groups. Highly recommended.

We discovered this place by an accident and we had the best time. Johan’s service was superb and friendly. We ordered mixed board and couple bottles of wine. All was very good but I must say that the bottle of Chardonnay La Presle was a very nice surprise. Delicious wine at a great price. I think you would need to spend much more in other places around to get similar quality.

Fabulous and unique experience. Manager Johann is delightful, nothing being too much trouble. His attention to detail is wonderful and his hospitality makes you feel you are in the kitchen if a best friend rather than a bistro/cafe setting. With an extensive wine and food menu Gargotte is definitely the place to go if you are in the West end and want a snack, coffee or after dinner or theatre drink. Thoroughly recommend a visit, and once you've been you're bound to go back. 5 stars

Firstly there is a lovely wine bar with a variety of selection which is very good for a sundowner or a hangout with colleagues as it is central. The charcuterie and cheeseboard, very delicious and definitely recommend that for a great value. Cosy atmosphere and is very intimate which makes the experience special also exceptional service from the owners. GREAT , for coffee in the morning , afternoon and as well as the evening. Overall, a very unique and modern interior compared to anywhere else in london and lovely ambiance.

This is the type of place one should probably keep as a secret. It is a truly unique fusion; a superb wine bar with Charcuterie and cheese board, offering great value yet in a cosy atmosphere. Unique not only for that and it’s luxuriant, colourful interior, but for its wonderful patrons, Joe and Johan. It also happens to be just perfect for coffee in the morning too. In short a genuine gem in the heart of it all. Please do not tell anybody.

I'm amazed, the place is wonderful! Delicious food, top wines, and VIP service! And the price?!! Just insane, considering the quality of everything. Good energies and polite people. I Felt surrounded by friends and family. Its my third time there. And I have no complaints at all. They just get better and better I recommend 100%.

This place is arguably the most special and well conceived corner of London. The moment you enter you feel the opulence and warm welcome from the very handsome and very french owner and from what I understand decorator, stylist and all round joy maker! The wine list is excellent. The food is thoughtful and high quality without being overly expensive. The service is perfect. The decor makes you feel like you have been transported to the beauty of southern France whilst having the flirtation of Fitzrovia winking at you through the window. When you arrive and leave you feel special. The whole atmosphere makes you feel like you have discovered the cities biggest gem. I adore this gargotte and will spend as much time here as possible. Also worth noting that it encapsulates what I think is the best Taylor’s in London at the back of this treasure trove of a darlectiun maze. I bought a couple of gems before leaving.
