Sam and I did a pub crawl in Hampstead and this was the third pub of the day. The last time I was in this pub was before covid and it was a regular pub now not so much. It calls itself a pub but looks more like a restaurant. There are no longer stools at the bar or small tables with chairs. It's definitely restaurant type seating. We decided to have a drink and then move on. I doubt I'll visit this pub, sorry restaurant, in the future.

Best fish and chips I've ever had; huge piece of perfectly cooked cod breaded oh so nicely with a delicious flaky crust, not the soggy batter one is used to. Served with tartar sauce and mushy peas (thank you!). The gnocchi was cooked nicely with a dash of herbs fresh chillies which hit the right spot. Ate out in the patio which sits on a quiet street. Hope to come back when the music is going!

Good food, even better beer and friendly service. I visited here a couple of times while on holiday in Hampstead and found it to be a great choice for food and drink.

A brilliant find in Hampstead: great atmosphere and incredible food. The staff and management are warm and friendly. There's even treats for the dogs 🦴 The beer garden is nicely lit up at night and the front outside area has very hot overhead heaters 🔥 10/10 for food, atmosphere and service

Really gorgeous pub that does fantastic bloody Marys. The roast was delicious, so fresh and succulent. Lovely spot to sit outside (they have really good heaters) and cosy interior as well. Dog friendly. We just walked in on the Sunday for a roast so that was handy too! But probably better to book ahead.

Went for a Sunday roast was nice with cool atmosphere on a sunny Sunday. Price of food was standard and quality was good 4/5. Service was unfortunately mediocre so 3/5 as we found getting the waiter attendance was a bit hard but not bad. Granted the whole pub/restaurant was packed.

Great place, we went for a Sunday Roast. Beautiful outdoor seating, great service and brilliant ambiance. Highly recommend this place!

We absolutely loved this pub. It is cosy, pretty and a wonderful option to have a good time with friends or family. We just had some soup of the day with crusty sourdough bread, some lovely house white wine and desert. Everything was tasty and price super reasonably priced. Service was superb as well. Highly recommended!

The Duke of Hamilton is a lovely pub come restaurant tucked away on New End, Hampstead. A fine offering of both cask (2 + 1 cider) and keg (many). Tables laid for eating inside i.e. knives, forks and napkins along with glasses on tables. A very welcoming atmosphere, staff both efficient and happy. An excellent front terrace overlooking the road and a delightful courtyard garden at the back making the pub altogether quite roomy. A great place for a beer and something to eat from the small but varied and considered menu.

This is a lovely pub in the heart of Hampstead. Tucked just a little way down a side street from the main road, it has a lovely outside area where you can watch the world go by. Be aware that the chef has a break between 3:30 and 5:30 so no food available during that time. They have a good range of beers and wines and the staff are friendly and helpful.
