I went with a friend and we decided to go as we were in the area for the weekend. We were very impressed. The location has a stunning view and was easy to find. I had the fries cauliflower, pokebowl and sticky toffee pudding. My friend had the wings, fish & chips followed by the brownie. All of the food was cooked very well and very delicious. We had beer and mocktails also. The staff were kind and very attentive, but we didn't feel rushed to leave. Overall a great experience and would revisit happily.
Popped in to this special place for a belated birthday celebration and it certainly fitted the bill. Friendly and considerate service from an efficient and professional team. Enjoyed the Spritz to begin then a fine Montipulciano with the meal. Well cooked and served simple dishes which more than satisfied. And topped off with a couple of birthday extras to deal and most pleasurable evening.
We visited to celebrate birthdays for my husband and son. The restaurant did not disappoint. To start we had the Tuna Tartare which was lovely. For main dishes, we tried the Bread Street Burger, Lamb Rogan Josh, Butter Chicken Curry and the Beef Wellington for Two. I’m not sure how the Koffman fries are cooked, but they are delightfully crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. We all loved them. The Beef Wellington was served with a nice side salad and mashed potatoes. The Indian dishes were beautifully seasoned. The desserts were probably my favorite part. The Chocolate Fondant with Pistachio Ice Cream was my favorite, but we also enjoyed the cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding. We also tried a few cocktails including Apples and Pears and Agua de Vida, the latter stood out as very refreshing while the former was beautifully presented. This restaurant is also dog-friendly and the wait staff is welcoming and attentive.
