Every time we go it's a lovely experience. I'm fussy but cleanliness is good there and the food is so tasty t that can't fault. Definitely recommend.
I went for a light lunch on Tuesday, 8 May and had salad with halloumi. It was just what I wanted, decent food, friendly service, nice location, modest prices.
Love coming to Comptoir Libanais & especially this branch in Soho. The staff are always so friendly. The Lebanese food is delicious and authentic (cooked by an Egyptian!) Favourite thing to order is the mezze platter and the grilled halloumi! There are so many delicious options to choose from even if you are vegetarian or even vegan. Price is reasonable too & I look forward to returning again & again!
I’m totally in love with this place: high quality food, great atmosphere and lovely stuff. My favourite lemonade so far is Toufaha (apple mint & ginger): amazing taste! I recommend the Mezze Platter.
Amazing hummus, amazing Labm kofta wrap. Authentic ambiance, great service, delicious amd high quality food. Lemonade with pomegranate and orange blossom was very refreshing. They should add "yoghurt drink" on their menu. Perfect place to eat :)))
Food was good, service was relatively fast, the waiter was courteous but not overly friendly.
We ordered kebab wrap and shish tawook platter.
The wrap seemed pre prepared and just heated. The most didn't seem well done. The Hummos was very good. The side salad was bland, but healthy.
Nice outdoor seating area when the weather permits.
The meze platter had variety and was very tasty. Recommend highly.
The fish and rice was also delicious. Didn’t like the lamb balls… something about the texture. Could done with 2 platters really! Service is friendly and casual so do not expect fast service. I’d definitely this cuisine.
Excellent chain. Always great food. Have been in 3 more and the quality is the same in all of the restaurants. Fast and kind services. Choices for vegans and vegetarians. Hallumi is awesome. Also the pickle.
Booked a table for 4 as we were celebrating a family birthday. Chose this particular branch as it is central & we like the interior layout. Staff were welcoming on arrival & as we had arrived before 7pm we were able to take advantage of the 2 for 1 cocktails offer. We ordered a Meze to share & several other dishes including lamb tagine. All our food was delicious and the portions were generous. Staff were attentive & helpful but not overly so. We will return and highly recommend this branch!
Service was very good. The servers were very attentive. The atmosphere is nice, colorful and inviting. It's a great place to have a group of friends, or if you are a family as well. The food is good, but not exceptional. It's a good place for an introduction to Lebanese food. A bit pricey for what it is in my opinion.
Yummie Lebanese food in central London. Beautiful interior and friendly staff. Didn’t have to book a table. Prices are reasonable.
There is a counter style bar for takeouts. Had the mezze platter for 2 and some other separate mezze. Amounted to a good 70£ for 4 pax with drinks.
Food quality is absolutely reasonable. Hummus is good (4/5), mezze were good as well, but a bit dry. There is free refill of flat bread. Friendliness of staff however was reason enough for a 5 star rating 😊
Nice place and well decorated. The food is good and has a wide range of options. Falafel is really tasty and the wraps are quite big.
Had put off checking this branch out as hadn't recovered from closure of Comptoir Libanais in John Lewis, indisputably the best family dining experience in London. Their children's menu sets the standard for quality, flavour and price for any restaurant.
Had tried revisiting Carluccio's etc but none meet this standard. Didn't see any of the CL staff from John Lewis but did meet the manager, Edith and her colleague Aggi. Their welcome and service was as good as anywhere and shows that Tony Kitous has a team he can be proud of.
Will try Wigmore street next and then make one of them our regular after school and school friends restaurant.
The food was good! Service was okay.
Wrap platter 9,95£
sides Batata Harra 4,95£
Fabulous food, staff, music, service and atmosphere. Feels like you teleported yourself into Beirut for that little moment. The food is authentic, very yummy and portions are massive. I would recommend it for lunch (just the grilled options or salads, don't order anything else as the portions are big 👌), or for sharing dishes. And if you do have a sweat tooth, you are in the right spot!
