freaking amazing scotch eggs! never had one before in my life- so when i turned up today hungover as shit they literally made my morning! i loved how the yolk was kind of runny and the crust thing was really tasty! i've lived next to the boys when they had their last venture on brick lane- and I can honestly say they are such lovely, driven and intelligent young men who are super interesting ( and really hot too!) i wish them every success in this new venture and would 1000% recommend coming here at borough market!
Tried the black sausage and regular pork sausage. Both amazingly delicious, served over a wonderfully light and petite leafy salad. Just enough. The eggs were beautiful and rich yolks were orange.
The staff is really nice and friendly. The scotch egg is absolutely gorgeous, especially the yolk is cooked perfectly. Crunchy crust brings meatball a great texture and mixed with egg well. Recommend to be here.
This place wasn't the easiest to find the Borough Market but I happened across it while looking around the market. Its located with a lot of other food trucks on the side of the market with the grandstand.
They did have the normal scotch egg but I decided to try their special, red pepper and chorizo egg. Both were 6 pounds. The egg was nicely cooked since the yolk was still soft. The meat was nice but wasn't very spicy. The crumb coating was nice and crispy. It was quite a nice snack.
Great sweet potato fries. Scotch egg is pretty good, perhaps a bit over salted. But enjoyable nonetheless when freshly fried, and the yolk still partly runny. Check the position, its in the smaller covered part by the side of Southwark cathedral, not where it said on Google map before.
Pretty good in flavor and a unique food to try while in the UK. The egg inside was rather small and the yolk was more jelly like than runny. The meat coating around the egg was well seasoned and fried with a crispy shell. However since they're premade and kept warm, it's only lukewarm when you receive it. Worth a try once.
If you have never had a Scotch egg, you have to make a trip to Borough Market to Scotchtails. It is so unique and the atmosphere of the market is awesome.

Good stop if you like scotch eggs and trying a bit of traditional british produce food. The serve is also quite nice. I loved the sweet potato fries as they were crunchy, salty and not heavy at all! Give it a go if you are looking for a quick bite around the market!
Hard to find this place, which nears a sitting area in Borough Market. Maybe the location showed on the map is incorrect. Scotch eggs are well-cooked.
Borough market is my favourite market in London. Scotchtails takes a scotch egg to a whole new level. It was delicious! Put it this way the photo does not do this meal justice.
Fantastic scotch eggs. Truly the best I’ve ever had. Everything is perfect and the bright orange eggs are so fresh.
We went to Borough Market today in search of these scotch eggs as I had read about them recently and they sounded amazing. We loved it! We had the Traditional Pork and it was lovely and crispy on the outside and it had an amazing runny orange yolk in the middle. The sweet potato chips were really good too. We will definitely be back!
