Decent pub. Good selection of popular beers on draft. A small selection of outdoor seating is available. Nice inside a relatively small bar for the size of the pub. Live music playing. The toilets were clean. Staff were friendly and polite, quick and efficient service.
Busy. Midweek early evening and The Glassblower is hopping. Still got decent service and found a table but it was hopping! The food was great and the beer selection was good so all and all a pleasant experience. We came for the open mic night but it was canceled. I think my favorite thing was the food.
A pleasant pub setting, but the fish and chips were disappointingly bland and lacked seasoning and character. While the dish was technically fine, it missed the depth of flavor one expects from a classic pub staple. Service was acceptable, but the kitchen failed to deliver a memorable plate.
