🚇 South Kensington 🍺 £5.85 Heineken ❤️ A food focused traditional Chelsea pub. . The Admiral Codrington or “The Cod” as it is known locally is situated in a quiet side street in Chelsea. To get here by Tube use South Kensington, it’s an eight minute walk to get here. . This pub was originally built
Can't say enough about this place. We ate there approx. 4 times during a 12 days trip in November. One of which was for Sunday Roast which was perfection. Get there early on a Sunday (like before 1:30 pm) if you plan to have the traditional Sunday meal. They do Open Table reservations which make it
Went for the sunday roast last Sunday. It was absolutely marvelous the meat was tender and all was well seasoned. The bloody Mary’s were extraordinary
We held a small event here in the upstairs function room and it could not have been better. The staff were brilliant and nothing seemed too much trouble. I would certainly recommend the Admiral Codrington and thank you to everyone there on 7th October!

Great pub in Chelsea. Good back patio area, although it can fill up pretty quick!
Lovely atmosphere and a pretty nice pub. The food was good, we all got burgers and were fairly impressed. The chips were really the star of the show, the triple cooked fries were mostly roast potatoes and the cheesy truffle fries were really tasty with a proper cheese used on top (not rubbish chees
Great food, atmosphere and service, very enjoyable. Party of 10
Hidden in Chelsea is this Gastro pub. Very clean, friendly stuff, small but appropriate wine list and very very good food! Extremely happy eating there on the last day of my trip. Kids friendly too! An absolute must.
The AdCod is a perfect neighborhood pub. On the quiet side, as it's tucked off the main drag, it's perfect for a post-work drink, a family dinner or a Sunday roast. The food is OK (3/5) but moderately priced. The drinks are excellent (4/5) and well priced. What keeps the AdCod at a solid four stars
A great pub with friendly staff. The food was nice, had the Bavette Steak. An optional service charge will be added if you run a tab, which is fine if eating, but inflates the price per pint if only drinking and might annoy some customers.
Had sausage and mash and daily pie with fries. Delicious.
Very British restaurant, cosy atmosphere, good service. Enjoyed traditional fish and chips and chicken, ham and leek pie, white bait with tartar sauce as starters, and duck confit
Showed up around 2:15 PM. Place was empty, had a burger and fries (good stuff) and the bar keep offered me a couple splashes/suggestions to find a beer to my suiting. Off the beaten path, but a great spot.
