Rudie's (dalston) - London - Photo album

A few weeks back I was invited to Rudie’s to try out their new Sunday roast menu and boy was I in for a treat! Just the décor alone will make you feel as if you have been transported to Jamaica. With posters of official street parties, carnivals and upcoming events in Jamaica placed on the walls and
Good Ja' Love. A classy approach to Jamaican food. Large selection of drinks. Perfect restaurant for some bites with friends or a date. Price budget works out about 40quid for two w/ a drink. Would definitely go back
Great staff. Please welcome upon entry. True Jamaican feel. Lovely decoration inside, upside and in the lavortry. Lovely staff. Beautiful vibes. Great music! Delicioisly tasty Carribean food.
Nice food. Nice place to bring the family for a proper Jamaican dinner. The cocktails was supper. Happy hour, 2 for one!!!😘 I'll definitely recommend this place
The food was really tasty. Their selection from their menu was very authentic. We will be visiting Rudie'again next weekend. I will be taking my daughter there for a meal.
Great food, but quite a small venue. We experienced a few issues with the menu as it was a large party and we were expected to order the set menu without being informed when booking. It was resolved eventually but it seems the service suffered a little.
My first visit, but I definitely will return, cool venue, so diverse! There were groups of friends, couples holding hands, couples from the LGBT community, all races, a truly beautiful scene all with sweet food and great music. I had the set menu, which was totally delicious. Cant wait to return.
Absolutely love the food, the vibes and the service! Been there twice and I’m looking forward to coming back again. Had my first proper Jamaican experience with Rudie’s and I’m happy!
Food was good and their home made sauces were delicious. The waiters were also really sweet, I forgot something in the restaurant and one of them followed me all the way down Stoke Newington Road to give it back!
Very tasty authentic Caribbean dishes with a twist. Jerk chicken roti and ebony wings recommended! Music selection is a mix of soca and reggae tunes. Slightly on the costly side but would visit again!
Great Food, Pepper prawns as described are peppery/spicy . Great service. Good Vibes
Love it and the cocktails are Soo nice and the food was good only thing there was something missing from my rice and peas
Nice atmosphere and the decor of the restaurant is really cool especially the wooden tree light objects. However the food didn't quite live up to its potential and the service was average
A lovely place to stop by and eat. If you love your food hot you won't be disappointed- have a glass of water handy haha.
Great place for a jerk chicken roti wrap, extra spicy wings and amazing spicy prawns. Love the vibe here - wonderful way to spend an afternoon with friends.
Had my birthday get together there on Sunday afternoon. Loved it! Started out quiet and then got busy, but great vibe throughout. Very helpful staff and fab food. I tasted food from many plates besides my own and all were tasty. Loved my jerk platter (tender and juicy meat). I can personally handle
Loved this restaurant for the quality of their jerk chicken (juicy and cooked using charcoal)! Have been a couple of times already. Great cocktails and friendly staff. Recommended it to some friends and they all loved it. For cheaper options we go to Pepper & Spice which is a take away.
We love Rudie's! We followed a recommendation and went there on a Friday. After that Friday we've decided to move to Dalston! We have been there a few times now and can honestly say it is great! Staff is friendly and very helpful, all of them have made us feel welcomed! Cocktails are TOP. I love rum
Really tasty food, decent cocktails and friendly staff. Need to sort out ventilation/heating though as was v cold. There is an open plan kitchen upstairs with a grill, which is probably why there was understandably a door/window open somewhere however would have been a more pleasant dining experienc
