Beautiful building marred by being in Woolwich. The Equitable pub is it's jewel in the crown but that's been struggling recently due to some poor management.

Well served by public transport - there's a DLR station Just opposite- and situated in the Woolwich-Arsenal area of London which offers a good choice of restaurants and bars. The hotel has been recently restored so everything is new. Rooms are way larger than usual for London's standards.

I had a great vegan Sunday roast, served by lovely staff. My partner and I thought about playing board games, but just enjoyed the cosy atmosphere and each other’s company.

Lovely old building in active use. I went to the Metro Charity centre inside, and my only criticism is that it's a bit like a maze - it's huge and easy to get lost in the many corridors!
