One of the best pub roasts in London! A little gem of a place, fabulous food, friendly and helpful staff and a lovely venue.

Such an amazing pub with one of the best roasts I’ve ever eaten! Ramona who looked after us is one in a million, made us feel so welcome, the service was second to none. Can’t wait to go back again xx

Nice pub with both a front and back garden. It’s a small pub but that adds to the atmosphere, inside is all wooden with benches and a proper bar and then the gardens are quirky and well decorated. The music is a good volume and neutral. Food is slightly expensive but where isn’t it in London, but good quality food and something for everyone. What makes this place good is the service who are really helpful and fun. Would definitely recommend

Best Sunday Roast in the area! Just moved to TP 6 months ago, been trying out a couple places but this has been the best so far. Gravy was delicious and flavoursome. Portion sizes were very very good for the price. Only slight criticism was no Sunday sides :( only got 3 roast potatoes so would have been nice to be able to order some on the side but still banging roast lovely garden and venue.

Slightly different but lovely 19th century pub with an unusual decor of church pews and confessional booths. The pub has a wonderful open fire for those colder nights, and a nice selection of beers to be had.

What a lovely place to go for a nice meal and a drink, I had the bangers and mash, oh my god.........it was amazing, those flavours had my tongue salivating after every mouth full. Great staff that actually interact with the customers especially the hugely accommodating landlady, great atmosphere, lovely decor and an overall excellent experience, just stop reading and go already.

Good Guinness and nice surroundings. Nice friendly staff. We went back at 10.30 on the Friday of the new kings coronation and was not allowed in as they were closing. I haven't experienced a pub in the UK closing at 19.30 pm on a Friday but this may be the pubs opening hours.

First visit, looked like a nice place to eat good quality food and we weren't disappointed. I had the Traditional Steak and Ale pie which I ate completely, loved the filling. We also enjoyed the Bangers and Mash and the Sirloin Steak.

After a frantic search to find a Sunday roast late on a Sunday evening after a few fails, we were pleasantly greeted on the phone by a lady telling us they were still serving roast. All I can say is wow! This was the biggest roast we've ever eaten in London (and we are Sunday roast connoisseurs) We didn't have to ask for more gravy because the dish was generously covered. Roast beef with crispy Yorkshire pudding, two whole carrots, piles of savoy cabbage, Cauliflower cheese, crispy roast potatoes and a pile of beef, mine medium rare and other plate was rare as requested. Attention to detail perfect, fresh flowers throughout. Even a hilarious side confession area which would make for a nice cosy date or to confess. Highly recommend. Massive screen where we watched the world cup comfortably
