The Bengal Lancer has just had some renovation works. The restaurant has had some needed upgrades. The service and food is the same high standard it always had been.

Bengal Lancer in Kentish Town is AMAZING. Staff are amazing and friendly. And the food was amazing. We were also offered a complimentary drink. Go there it’s great. The decor is lovely it’s brighter and there is background music which is so relaxing.

Had a delicious meal, lamb several ways, samosas , all good but outstanding poppadoms with a tray of chutneys and Peshawri nan the best ever. Very reasonable and the restaurant is freshly decorated, staff very attentive and wanted to make sure we had a pleasant evening. We did and will go back.

Newly decorated in a beautiful 18th century colour makes this an elegant and comfortable restaurant. The portions are generous and both my son and I enjoyed our food. Our host was very polite without being over attentive, which left us to chat and enjoy our evening. Recommended.

Very nice atmosphere, really nice classic Indian restaurant, interior with white table cloths and starched napkins. Very tasty dishes expertly cooked and lots of attentive staff. All in all a very enjoyable experience.
