We often visit this restaurant on Kingston each time we travel to Kingston from Dorking & are never disappointed..
The food is amazing & very tasty especially the mixed grill for two which is more than enough.
The service is exceptional & love the complimentary Kurdish tea & desert at the end of our meal.
There are numerous restaurants on this long stretch but Ranya is by far the best we have dined in.
Excellent food.. lovely lamb chops and baba guanouj. The bread was pleasantly different from aother Arabic restaurants and was lovely again. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Not a single negative for this place or the food or the staff. Will definitely go there again when my taste buds sing in Arabic.
Lovely place, yummy food, friendly and professional staff, highly recommend!!!
This place is like my second home, as I tend to eat a lot home whenever I'm tired or need for change, this is the place to go. Great food and staff.
Excellent meal
on a very busy evening we were made welcome and a table made available. Portions were plentiful and very well presented.
Table service was very good nothing was any trouble. Best food I have ever had
Great food, wonderful staff and the lentil soup they give you when you first arrive was amazing
The food and service were excellent. I enjoyed Lamb biriyani with an okra and an aubergine stew and my wife a lovely sea bass. Hummus, with salad was superb together with the wonderfully crispy and light Nan breads. We will certainly visit again when in the area.
Really great restaurant. The nicest staff and great value. My favourite restaurant in Kingston
That was one of the best meals I had. Good food and friendly staff!!!
Best restaurant excellent service and very good price
Highly recommended, portions are so big and tasty, friendly staffs and 3 free course lentils soupe and salad and tea what else can I ask for :))
Very good quality food and amazing staff personnel
Highly recommended Ranya restaurants to all of my friends , great atmosphere and lovely staffs . OMG the taste of the foods kebab and the lamb Quzi reminds me back home foods :)
Very tasty food (especially kebab) and good customer service!
Ranya Kingston is a traditional Iraqi restaurant located right in the centre of Kingston, it primarily offers a lot of authenticity and a taste of the menu that you only find in the unspoiled areas of the East. The atmosphere is friendly and the staff pleasant. The free starters offered before you order is a total blessing, the lentil soup simply tantalizing even the numbest of taste buds. Please try to contradict me 😊
Very delicious Iraqi food. Pleasant staff . The complimentary lentil soup, hummus and freshly cooked flat bread was delicious . We had the grilled Sea-bass with salad and rice . This was cooked to perfection as was the grilled whole chicken with salad 😋.
Everything was good , but the 4 tiny grilled chicken wings even though tasty were not good value at £6.99 they should be cheaper or at least 6 wings .
I would go back as food was fresh and delicious 😋
Sorry we started to eat the food before we could photograph it properly ha ha ha ha
It was my first time trying Iraqi food. It was delicious, the portions were pretty big but then again I went after fasting.
The service was relatively quick considering it was quite busy. They also provided complimentary hummus and local Kurdish fresh bread.
They have a variety of dishes and kebabs. Half their menu is in Farsi or Persian. There’s no alcohol being served which I personally love.
The food was very tasty and we were also able to get takeaway boxes to take home. I definitely recommend.

Delicious traditional Kurdish food, I tried the Kabab it was fantastic, location is very good and atmosphere is calm, highly recommended.
I have never felt so confident about giving 5 stars.
This place was amazing.
Big portion and good quality. The lamb neck could've been more juicy though. The Iraqi kebab was delicious but I'm not sure why the rice was not included and must be ordered separately
For someone who can be a little bit hard to impress, I was. I had the complementary soup made from lentils. It was good, warm and the bread was very soft and nice. My main was the charcoal fish and rice . For the price I paid ..Nah that was really good . My Mrs had the potato soup , chicken skewers and rice. We weren't disappointed.i would definitely visit again.
They gave a complementary tea at the end..wink...

We had a very efficient service during our meal, staff was very quick and helpful. Food was served in very good portions. The food was very good and fresh. It's a great option to try if you like middle east food , definitely Iraqi cuisine is good. Atmosphere is calm and quiet.
We went to this place- we loved the food - they gave us in house Dal soup ( complementary) - ordered chicken tikka - it was awesome- it tasted so juicy and nice- the portion was so good, naan bread was so lovely- good and affordable- would highly recommend and we will go there again to explore more.
Ordered a selection of dishes and everything was fantastic. My first time trying Iraqi cuisine and I will definitely order again. The lamb neck and the shank were both stunning. Portion sizes are very large. Make sure you order with an empty stomach.
