Ranya Kingston is a traditional Iraqi restaurant located right in the centre of Kingston, it primarily offers a lot of authenticity and a taste of the menu that you only find in the unspoiled areas of the East. The atmosphere is friendly and the staff pleasant. The free starters offered before you order is a total blessing, the lentil soup simply tantalizing even the numbest of taste buds. Very delicious Iraqi food. Pleasant staff . The complimentary lentil soup, hummus and freshly cooked flat bread was delicious . We had the grilled Sea-bass with salad and rice . This was cooked to perfection as was the grilled whole chicken with salad 😋. Everything was good , but the 4 tiny grilled chicken wings even though tasty were not good value at £6.99 they should be cheaper or at least 6 wings . I would go back as food was fresh and delicious 😋 Sorry we started to eat the food before we could photograph it properly ha ha ha ha

It was my first time trying Iraqi food. It was delicious, the portions were pretty big but then again I went after fasting. The service was relatively quick considering it was quite busy. They also provided complimentary hummus and local Kurdish fresh bread. They have a variety of dishes and kebabs. Half their menu is in Farsi or Persian. There’s no alcohol being served which I personally love. The food was very tasty and we were also able to get takeaway boxes to take home. I definitely recommend.
