When you have tried of good dining you have tried of being adventurous, thanks to Bar 191 this is Not the case
One of the best tapas restaurants south of the river the venue was ideal to drop by for supper following a major revamp
Currently Opening from 6pm most evenings
They hope to be offering a lunch time service soon
Chooseing, four different types of tapas, which included octopus , wine, and coffee, all freshly prepared I had a delightful meal
If you opp for paella it takes on average 35 minutes to prepare and brought to you its that valued.
The bill was one so agreeable
The whole meal done and served with personal attention, as ever we will be back, after all we have known Bar 191 for over 12 years.
Fantastic tapas restaurant with healthy food and even vegan options.
Well done to the chef because tapas restaurants tend to be too "meaty".
Really nice atmosphere and super food, fine dining quality and locally sourced!!
They also have a lots of homemade food, Arancini and meatballs are 3rd generation recipes😍😍😍.
Also they have Award Winning ice-cream Oddono's which you can also find in different shops across London.
You cannot miss this place .... a little gem in Raynes Park.
What a local gem! Recently moved to the area and thoroughly enjoyed my first visit here. By far the best tapas I have experienced outside of Spain - fresh, flavourful, not greasy - and soooo reasonably priced. Various flights of wine, homemade desserts and welcoming staff really make this a special restaurant to visit. Cannot wait to dine here again soon!
Fresh tapas, good wine selection and spacious seating inside and outside. Inexpensive compared to other restaurants in the area. Food is good, if maybe a little bland. To get that ferocious Spanish temperament add a bit of chili!
Nice little local Tapas place with very friendly staff.
Friends introduced me to Bar 191 in Raynes Park and what a good find that was. A really great tapas bar of the highest order. Dmall delicious dishes with remsrkable choice all served in a great atmosphere by friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.
We ran into Bar 191 this evening in Raynes Park on the spur of the moment and as usual we were not disappointed. We love that it’s open earlier hours than more formal dinner restaurants in Raynes Park. We had a well-traveled Spain/Portugal houseguest who picked the boar and patatas bravas; we went with our aubergine, tomato with manchego salad, and anything on special—tonight cheese croquettes and fish. Two large glasses of Fuego for me and I had to run off elsewhere but I was stuffed, and my companions stayed for one more glass of wine. Always friendly, always personable, and always fresh ingredients.
Enjoyed an evening here with a friend. Food was good and well priced. Beer was a bit overpriced and only available in bottles. Service was very friendly and efficient.
We had a lovely family dinner it was amazing meat was so nice and tender they had lovely home made desserts staff were so great and attentive will definitely be visiting soon
Very friendly staff and some great tapas dishes !
Have been here 3 times with my wife now and will go again 😊😊
