Really nice café. Great coffee and freshly baked pastries. Friendly staff. The place is really spacious, and it's easy to find a table or a corner to sit, which is rare in this neighborhood.

The cafe itself is quite spacious and really nice. They have a selection of sweet and savoury bread, as well as hot/cold drinks. You order up at the counter and if you are eating in they bring the food to you. I had the hotdog one with a hot chocolate. The katsu one also looked quite nice. The flavours were a bit different from the Japanese brown sauce and Mayo. The hot chocolate was nice. It would be a nice place to grab some of their bread and eat by the river if you were inclined, otherwise sit and enjoy the interesting ornaments around the cafe.

Lovely little cafe just round the back of the London eye. I usually come here for meetings with work as it’s nice and quiet (no blaring music in the background!). The staff are lovely and bring drinks and food over to the table for you - great if you’re in a larger group. Lots of great teas on offer - jasmine pearls, matcha, etc and the cakes, pastries and sandwiches are amazing. If you want somewhere that’s a little less “touristy” then I would highly recommend!

The chocolate bun was really nice! I wish I had tried one of the Japanese teas but I went for coffee instead. The waitress was really nice and smiley. Great service. The ambience is quite nice even though it’s a very large room with not too many tables.. it could look a bit cosier. By the way I was actually surprised of how nice the place was considering it’s surrounded by many very unappealing touristic restaurants. Will come back and try tea and other Japanese pastries..

What an amazing discovery, after living in London for years and wandering around South Bank, Westminster, Waterloo l feel l know the city well. Why haven't l come across this spacious, warm friendly and welcoming cafe before? (aka Zen cafe) Great decor, a good selection of snacks on offer and fantastic authentic Japanese tea. 🍵 Now the place is on my map, certainly will come again. ♥

Lovely lady behind the counter, tasty coffee, and an interesting range of Japanese - inspired buns in addition to more usual lunch options ❤️

Just meters from the busy south bank is this beautifully peaceful Japanese style bakery. As well as teas and coffee served in fitting ceramic cups, there's a range of sweet and savory pastries which very much remind me of my time in Tokyo. Tip - ask for the buns heated up to bring out the freshly baked flavor.

Large but cosy and nicely decorated cafe that you could quite easily walk past without noticing from the main road. It's a shame that the food selection isn't huge but a friendly lady served some very tasty Japanese custard buns and at a reasonable price too.

Found this lovely in our way to the aquarium. We really liked the atmosphere. You have space to enjoy your coffee. We didn't have all choice you can see on the website but we had some Japanese speciality dessert. We tried the yuzu pound cake which was very good. I really liked my mocha and you can have it cold as well.

Roomy and airy coffee shop based on Japanese backed goods, sweet and salty, at southbank right behind the London Eye, inside Town Hall. Typical Japanese food, I had the vegetarian Pan Curry and white chocolate strawberry bun for dessert. Seems nice atmosphere though the place was empty when I was there...
