Centrally located in heart of wimbledon.this oldie worldie traditional pub is a lovely to sit eat and drink daytime.or evening. A wide range of draught beers and spirits. I have always had friendly staff amd lovely atmosphere here. Great place to meet. Reasonably priced too.
Great pub, great staff, food good, had a great time last night for the England 🏴 game. Been going there for years love it. And bands on Friday’s is a good night 2
Historic and well located pub (near the station and central to Wimbledon). There were a few ales on pump and plenty of drinks in general to choose from. The food was decent and reasonably priced and the overall atmosphere was family friendly.
This is a great pub, quite big and with a very nice vibe, and a good selection of beer. it's also a convenient location super close to Wimbledon Station. I was there last week when the Tree House, one of the resident brands was playing, and they were amazing!
I also got to know Sarah, one of the managers, and she did look after us!
A real London gem, totally recommended!

What an absolute lovely little pub. I was served by a wonderful man named Miguel. He made my visit a real treat. Mostly definitely be returning to this pub. Great food and friendly bar staff with excellent service 👌
Lovely dark and moody. Dark wood and leather. High ceiling. Interesting seating. High and low. Loads of screens for the footie. ⚽️. Close to the train station amd buses. Wimbledon.
I always have a great time at Prince of Wales (Wimbledon). Great atmosphere, the best staff, super friendly, you can tell they are like a family. Plus always good band playing on the weekend. Highly recommend.
Really great pub with a good atmosphere and a decent selection of food.
I went for the ‘MASSIVE’ fish and chips and it was was quite massive. An extremely filling meal (and they didn’t skimp too much on the chips either).
There are plenty of screens to be able to watch sports while there and the proximity to the station (literally just outside one of the main entrances) makes it one of the first places to visit to catch a game or for a quick pint / meal.
I had the great pleasure of watching the women's world cup final here today with some friends.
Unlike some pubs I know this pub has been open for every women's game so far but it wasn't until today I was able to get to the pub to watch one of the games. It's great to know they have been supporting the women's team the whole way through and not just jump on the bandwagon of the final.
I got there early enough to have a full english which really hit the spot. A great portion size and was great value for money.
The staff were friendly and welcoming and helped to create a cheery atmosphere along with some good songs to get everyone in the mood. I can imagine they were a lot busier than usual considering but you couldn't tell as I never had to wait long to get a drink at the bar or when we ordered through the app.
Certainly my favourite pub in Wimbledon and one I will continue to watch my sport at.
Thanks team POW!
Really like this place. There was live music. Not too crowded. Easy access from Wimbledon Station and bus routes to Kingston. The beers are ok. Don't get the £10 for 3 shots though.. they're cheap. Not really drinkable. Waste of money.
Came in for drinks on a Saturday night, the place was full and service at the bar was quite slow. There are, however, 3 big screens so if you want to see the football it’s a good choice.
