Edit: I've been back several times and tried a new dish each time. All the food I've had here has been amazing The food was so delicious! The portions are generous and well priced, and the staff were very attentive. Definitely the best Italian in Tooting.

Just enjoyed an incredible meal here. The bruschetta melted in your mouth and the squid ink crab pasta was so delicious I did not leave one mouthful on my plate. Such a cosy little restaurant and the service from the proprietor, John, was top notch. I will be back for sure. Go and visit now before others discover this local gem!

Absolutely delicious - fitted us in fairly late notice on a Friday evening for two people - the nduja starter was fantastic, as was the bruschetta - then the ox tail parpadelle and the ravioli were exceptional. To top it off, the nutella stuffed gnocchi was delightful! Good absolutely piping hot, super fresh and the service was FANTASTIC! Would highly recommend, I would definitely go back!!!

We popped in spontaneously after work as my husband said someone told him about the great pizzas there. I walk past this place every day and didn't even know it was an Italian restaurant. The pizza was indeed superb, as was the service and everything else. The decor, even the crockery they serve the food on is lovely. For a Saturday, given what a cosy little find this is, I feel like this place should have been busy. The only couple of things that would have made it better for us is turning the lights down and playing some chilled evening music to create a more cosy, relaxing atmosphere. I can't help but think they got the branding a bit wrong, as looking at it, there's no indication it's an Italian restaurant and pizzeria, or we would have been in a lot sooner. I hope it starts to thrive, as I'd like to keep coming back.

This place is truly a gem. The food, wine, service and personal touch are real draws and not expensive. Jean Luca is a very welcoming host and makes most of the food himself. Try the bay leaf 'limoncello' for example. The quality of the sharing platters almost made me feel I was in Sicilly on a cold winter's day in Tooting. You must try this place.

I went for dinner with friends around a month ago and still I can't stop thinking about how good was everything we ordered. Amazing Italian food and wines. We started with the classic Spritz Aperol, olives, focaccia with dips and burrata, then we chose three different pastas and finished with a dessert made of meringa, pistachio ice cream, whipped cream and strawberries. The owners and the staff were friendly and always ready to give the right suggestions. We truly recommend this restaurant, if you love great food you will love Dive In and you will come back over and over again!

I love this place! The first time I went I had a delicious thin crust pizza cooked in their Italian wood-fired oven. So good that I’ve already been back. The second time I had pasta, made on site that day, with homemade pesto & beans. It will make your toes curl! Their strawberry sorbet (made because the strawberries were seasonal) was the essence of strawberries rather than sugar. The staff are welcoming and you can see the kitchen & flames of the oven from the restaurant. If you want to know just how good authentic, seasonal Italian food can be, then this place is a must. Good selection of beer & wine too.
