Fantastic little find my boyfriend came here four years ago. We had been to see Sam Smith at the O2 on Saturday. Got the tube to Islington and amazingly he found you. Beautiful decor amazing staff & the food belisimo. Just what was needed before heading back to Wolverhampton 🍽🍽👍🏾👍🏾
Lovely relaxed atmosphere, very helpful, friendly staff, amazing food .Would defo return again .
I ordered delivery one pasta Mushroom Tagliatelle that you tell it is one of the best I’ve ever eaten in my whole life. the cream the sauce was superb the pasta itself was amazing super tasty. highly recommend anyone to eat that dish plus the mushrooms variety was extraordinary it amazed me this dish I will order it again for sure several times while I’m here in London.
Life is Beautiful is what I believe is the translation for the name of this restaurant. From the lovely team who brings you Mem & Laz, pops up a bold Italian on Theberton Street. It occupies the same building owned by a man who owns and operates at least three other restaurants next door (including Mem & Laz). The interior of this place is a big undertaking. It is like a labyrinth. There are various entrances which takes you through a deli, bar or corridors. Set over the ground floor and stretching to the lower ground floor, Vita E Bella is an interesting space. The room is set out in a way where you are don’t feel too crowded wherever you sit.

My travel to Italy is limited, with only a magical trip to Sicily some years ago. My impression of authentic Italian food always comes in the form of bona fide Italian telling me what is accurate and what is a cheap imitation. On this occasion, i did not have my usual Italian company, so my experience is based on what I tasted rather than if it demonstrates Italian authenticity.
For our starters, Fitore began with a salad of lettuce, cucumber, red onions and tomatoes with a simple dressing. I have perfectly ripe avocado with tomatoes (bursting with flavour) and creamy mozzarella. For main course, Fitore went for spicy tomato penne with olives and chilli, covered with flakes of parmesan. I had garlicky massive meaty king prawns in parsley, lemon, chilli, spring onion and garlic. So fresh, so tasty. This was not Fitore's first rodeo here, she had visited before as it's close to her office. It definitely had her seal of approval or there is no way it would be on the agenda.
The service topped off a great experience with sweet staff, including the smiling fellow next to the oven where they freshly bake the pizza. The menu is large, it has soooo many dishes, so it can be hard choosing what you want as everything sounds so good. Even worse, as you sit there watching plates of food passing you by to other tables, you are tempted to change your choice. It is unfair.
Vita E Bella is now on the Islington regular list for me. I will be back soon, if Mem & Laz doesn't grab me first.
We were wandering around the neighbourhood before we came across this little gem! It's so beautiful inside. The size really surprises you with the big basement and back. The service was quick and staff were really friendly. The menu has so many options to choose from (lots for the vegetarians out there). The food portions were generous! We all ordered a starter and main each, hoping to share a dessert later but were stuffed after the main! Would definitely recommend this place.
We thought of trying this Italian place and were pretty impressed by the overall experience. Although, the decor and the ambience didn't not seem that impressive from outside but once we were seated, I realized the surroundings were wonderful and the place is actually quite huge. The food was delicious, especially risotto and pasta and the desserts were exceptional. I would love to go to this place again.
A brilliant Italian restaurant that boasts a gigantic over in the middle to attract and hook he pizza lovers in the vicinity. The interiors are fun and comfortable. The service is swift. The prices are a little on the high end but worth it after the food arrives at the table. pizza is savory and I can't wait to be back again.
The place is rather new and is on a small street. The interiors are very pretty and they have a unique theme of combining old stone sand new with a lot of wood.
The food here is mostly Italian, however, they serve a bit of Turkish and Greek too. All of my food was always done to perfection and well presented. The dessert my companion ordered was slightly watery and appeared to have been left outside of the freezer for a while. The staff here are amazingly polite and helpful.
Wandering around the neighbourhood for a while, I stumbled upon this place and learned that it was located and spaced in a large basement. The ambience of the place was very impressive. The food served to us was tasty and one must try the tasty Chaiti. I went on ladies night and indeed had a brilliant time!
The restaurant hit us with impeccable service, beautiful ambiance and delicious food straight in our face.
We have been smitten and cannot wait to come back again.
the Italian restaurant serves delicious thin crust pizzas.
The drinks are also superb. The portion sizes are generous.
the prices are also affordable.
I was not expecting what I got that night. As i was on the look out for different cuisine, I wasn't expecting a lot from this place. However, the food was outstanding. It was very well presented and the attention to detail was commendable. The service too was great and very enjoyable.
Me and my partner been coming to La Vita é Bella for couple of years now and this is our favourite restaurant by far! Keeping in mind we spend 60 minutes travelling here, it's absolutely been worth it every single time!
Mustafa and his team always make sure all the customers are well looked after.
The service is second to none, everyone is friendly and very welcoming. Food is consistently amazing and the atmosphere really make you feel like your a part of family here!
Let's not forget about Roberto who always creates the best pizzas I've ever eaten!
I really cannot recommend this place enough!
Been here a few times and both times were excellent. First time we got pasta. This time we went for a lamb dish and chicken dish. We were so eager we started eating before taking the pictures! They always have lovely staff. We came in on a Saturday around 8 and managed to get a table. It was a bit loud but there are tables downstairs which seemed quieter when I went down for the toilet.
Best Italian place in Islington hands down! Scrumptious food and super friendly staff every single time. Pizza is made in actual fire oven by an Italian guy. Also recommend all the pasta. Fine interior. Deifinite 5 stars!
Situated just off the main road in islington. Seating upstairs and downstairs. Lunch menu 2 course 15.95. Had portobello mushrooms, quite filling and fish and chips. Two glasses of house wine. Cost £72 for 2, service charge of 12.5%. Relaxing atmosphere and not too busy.
Really nice traditional Italian food at fair prices.
The service was great and the staff were friendly and accommodating.
Food was brilliant and the portion sizes were just right.
Wonderful service, I felt really well looked aftered which is rare in London! Food was great and the vibe inside is lovely and comfortable. Goats cheese salad was delicious
What a great vibe this place has! It's cosy, full of life and flavours. Theres a great menu to choose from and food is really tasty . Service was very friendly and looked well after customers. I highly recommend and will be back for sure.
It's comfy, has outside tables, nice dishes and is reasonably priced. I could see myself coming here often for a meal
Absolutely love this place- it's a "must go to" place every time we're visiting London. Atmosphere is brilliant and food is just beyond good. Each dish we've ever ordered was always good. Yesterday we've visited with our daughters (fussy eaters) and they both loved the food. The decor is so nice, stylish and cosy. Service very nice, friendly and makes you feel welcomed. Prices are very reasonable- especially if you consider location and quality of food. Highly recommended.
Fabulous Italian restaurant had a lovely family meal. Menu is great a lot to choose from. We all had garlic bread to start which was delicious in fact we ordered another one because it was that good. Me and daughter had pasta and my husband had steak and son had seabass all empty plates I couldn't eat a sweet too full but my husband had the apple pie which he loved. The restaurant is lovely and cosy and authentic. What makes the restaurant is the staff and service was impeccable felt like part of the family. We would definitely return if we were to go to London again.
