The food is good but excessively overpriced for what you get, will not be returning given that there are other much nicer places with same quality if not better in the same price range. Reply: This is not a contridiction at all, I have stated that "there are other much NICER places with same quality if not BETTER in the same price range" The repeat was how I came to my conclusion. On the first take away for a wrap the price was very good £6.95 which promted a second visit but on this occasion was told the menu changed and price went up to £9.95 but now was served with chips this was still somewhat acceptable but during the last dine in the price went up yet again to what I would say is expensive. Almost £20 per head for a wrap lunch without starters desert or coffe is excessive. Miller and Carter offer a one course lunch for £8.95 per head for example.

The food at Samdan is great, albeit a little pricey. And, glad that we can get as a takeaway while restaurants are closed for eat in. However.... the takeaway service is chaotic - a pick up time of 6:30pm became 6:35, then 6:40, then sometime and eventually was ready at 7pm. Pretty cold when you're waiting outside. And not nice to hear chef shouting and yelling. Here's looking forward to re-opening!

All about the quality of the food. I very rarely write reviews but was genuinely shocked that the rating was so low. First visit, having heard good things, The quality of the food, the way it was cooked and the flavours were first class. I had the mixed grill with a bit of everything in it. The meat was not over cooked. It was soft and succulent. This is not an upmarket restaurant with dazzling ambience and service. It is a great local restaurant to eat great food with friends and family. Possibly the best grilled food Iv had in North London.

Well what can I say but quality quality quality I have ordered from samdan for years and eaten in the restaurant this team of hardworking people make heaven on a plate and I leave satisfied every time. You can taste the high quality ingredients used and the skills of the chefs. I highly recommend that anyone that comes here will be very happy with the experience and most importantly the place is spotless. Thank you Samdan team keep up the good work.

Food was really lovely but bit surprised we were charged for carrot & cucumber batons for a wheat intolerant person so they could enjoy the complimentary dips. Otherwise they would have got a 4 or 5 stars. Note that 10% service charge is auto added which I dislike, hence a star knocked off for that. I would have given a 10% tip volunterily anyway. Would recommend the veggie mushroom mains - gorgeous! Do book as it's very popular
