A little hard to find but we had fantastic steaks and red wine here in pleasant surroundings. A little bit of jazz as a soundtrack and some funky loos.

When you have eaten too much ramen from Ramen Nagi, Kanada Ya, Ichiban, Wagamama to Shoryu, Ippudo stays special. Consistent flavours in 4 outlets I have eaten at, every meal at Ippudo fuels my love affair with ramen. I definitely prefer the less enthusiastic kitchen in this outlet compared to the one in Megamall. Medyo OA ang ingay sa Madaluyong branch.

One of the best Ramen I've tried. The dumplings are amazing. Exceptional service and food quality. Nothing here disappoints. Busy at some times but its usual at good places. All the eggs and vegetables were amazingly cooked along with the pork belly. If you're in Canary Wharf, this is a mandatory place to visit.

No words.... 5 stars. Yuuuuuuuuuuuum! Give me a warm place and a blanket. The food is what your body needs in life... (140 characters)... Think about your grandma's cooking, now multiply that by 20 add 10 and you'll be on the same planet in terms of taste. Not the same city but at least you're on the same planet taste wise.

Arriving at Heathrow airport on a cold foggy London morning was quite the contrast from the 82-degree heat we had just left in Houston. By lunchtime we needed something warm and nourishing to keep us from succumbing to jet lag. A bowl of ramen seemed like the perfect solution. The Ippudo story dates back to its founding days in Japan in 1985. Moving internationally in 2008, the chain now boasts 120 stores and counting in Australia, Korea, Singapore, China, Taiwan, US and now the UK.

Not having had ramen in a very long time and with the great I heard about Ippudo my expectations were really high.
The good things about Ippudo Canary Wharf are that it is fast and efficient, even if there is a queue you are seated within5 minutes. Between ordering and getting your food the wait is also short which is great for a quick week night dinner with friends. The menu is also simple which I'm sure helps with the restaurant's turnover.
The disappoint things in my view are that the ramen is not that impressive. I ordered the Akamaru Tamago ramen hoping the addition of miso paste and garlic oil would enhance the experience but still found that after the first two bites the taste became pretty flat and boring. Besides that it was pretty salty, me and my company had to order several glasses of tap water because it was so salty. The egg was perfectly cooked and the pork belly, despite not usually being a fan, was very good! Not too fatty and very flavorful. But those are basically what saves the dish. The broth is just not exciting enough and the noodles were a bit undercooked.
Overall it was an ok experience, I didn't completely dislike it but unless there are some new additions to the menu I see no reason to come back.

Ramen wars continue and my next stop was Ippudo Canary Wharf. I never made it there during my trips to NYC, so I was excited when in came to London and even more so once the Crossrail location opened up as it makes a brilliant lunch spot. My fellow Boozy Buncher, Yee Gan, maintains it’s his favourite Ramen place in NYC (and possibly London? Stay tuned to find out!) The space is decked out in a modern take on the traditional Ramen house with a mix of counter seating and tables. The staff are friendly and mostly attentive as while ordering is a breeze, it can be hard to get the bill at times.

Among the throngs of restaurant chains that dominates Canary Wharf, it was refreshing to come across Ippudo - and with it came the hope of genuine Japanese food. Not something like Wagamama or other blasphemy of the sort.

Lovely hot ramen in drizzling London. Great for an affordable night out in this expensive city. Love the noodles and broth, with sparkling sake to boot.

I really liked the ramen it was the classic one, slightly spicy. The place was suggested by a very close friend who tried in Tokio. Prices are reasonable for being in Canary Wharf and portions are generous. I want to come back and try other dishes on the menu. Service is super quick, from when we ordered until the bill, quite impressive! Some tables are getting old and can be replaced.

Service was incredible - up there with high end service. The waitress who served me and my friend was really Knowledgeable, accommodating and polite. I ordered a vegetarian ramen as I don’t eat pork but added some chicken. I must say the flavours exploded in my mouth. There’s a Japanese phrase that the staff shout to the chefs and the chefs shout back which gives a real authentic feel. The decor here is also not to be missed. 5/5 for me.

This is the first restaurant I went to dine in after lockdown lifted! It's an amazing Japanese restaurant for ramen. I've tried other places but they just don't compare. How many places offer 4 types of noodle texture for every ramen bowl? Service is always attentive and quick. The restaurant has always done a great job of keeping customers socially distanced and sanitizing surfaces. The spicy veggie ramen is always perfect. When the weather is cooler, we always order the bot sake. Highly recommend! All the buns are very good as well. The only negatives are, Ippudo only offers 2 veggie style ramens on the menu and don't play Japanese music in the background. After all this restaurant is in Japan and would make the restaurant more authentic!

Great experience at Ippudo. Across the various chains, the food offering is really consistent, consistently good! On this occasion we visited as a 2-top, food was really good, highly recommend the 6 piece takoyaki for starter then get any of the ramen offerings, you’ll be super happy! The quality of the ingredients is definitely noticeable against other chain ramen in London, Ippudo’s offering is much higher quality. The Ippudo in Canary Wharf is normally really busy at peak hours and there is a queue, so recommend to get there early or late to avoid those peak hours. Service was generally minimal, normally we do prefer more service if we are expected to pay service charge.

The ramen taste is same as Japan Ippudo. Although the price is double compare with Asia, still I will come here again when I want to have the real Japanese ramen.

Ippudo Canary Wharf is a must-visit destination for anyone looking for delicious ramen in London. The restaurant is conveniently located in the heart of Canary Wharf, making it easily accessible for locals and visitors alike. The veggie ramens at Ippudo Canary Wharf are simply divine, bursting with flavour and packed with fresh and healthy ingredients. The noodles are perfectly cooked and the broth is rich and fragrant, making for a truly satisfying meal. The restaurant itself is stylish and welcoming, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes it the perfect spot for a casual lunch or a cozy dinner. The service is attentive and friendly, with staff who are happy to help with any questions or requests. Overall, I highly recommend Ippudo Canary Wharf to anyone looking for top-quality ramen in a great location. The veggie options are especially delicious, and the atmosphere and service are both excellent. Don't miss out on this amazing restaurant!

Walked in for lunch. As we came earlier, before noon, we managed to grab a couple of chair before everyone swarmed and started a long queue. I was surprised. Tried Ippudo before but in a different country. The broth is definitely flavourful! I hope they open a branch in Reading or Berkshire. Serving was enough for one. I also ordered gyoza. And had mochi for dessert. My partner had something like a katsudon, which was surprisingly small (serving). He ordered two. Would come back to try something else.

Unfortunately all ramens are either pork based or vegan so I opted for the rice bowl. I was originally a little disappointed in the portion size of the Inferno Chicken Don because it’s in a much smaller bowl than the ramen. But I was so wrong, it was more than filling. The crispy gyozas were lovely and they do a great little lunch time offer. Great price too

The food is great, especially the yaki gyoza. The restaurant is a bit warm inside, air conditioning was weak. I ordered gyoza but the staff forgot my order, after I remind them, they immediately serve the food which was great 👍👍
