We were lucky enough to be seated at the “chef’s table” and were greeted by the head Chef Joe. We asked for a selection of choices from the menu and we were NOT disappointed. Some of the best tasting plates I’ve ever tasted! Especially the freshly prepared pizza and breads served in the authentic oven, the roasted cauliflower and the cheese fondue served in a melting pot! Wow!
The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere too and we had a draught beer (Peroni) but resisted the large choice of cocktails and wines
I’ll definitely be returning to this gem.

Great tasty food! One of my favorite restaurants in London. The atmosphere is lovely and the staff is super friendly. It is a very spacious venue with intimate lightening and delicious food - perfect for both large groups parties as well as a cute date. LOVED the amore cocktail and the wild mushroom arancini. The hot chocolate is also super tasty

Excellent food, great service and amazing atmosphere. The food here is sort of like Italian tapas, smaller sharing plates of food, but you could have them as stand alone mains. We ordered most of the menu between for of us, all the starters, 4 pastas and 2 pizzas. Everything was amazing, the ragu, arancini, macaroni balls and the meat and honey pizza were exceptionally good. I also had a watermelon gin cocktail which was amazing, tasted of fake watermelon - which I love.

Lovely staff and good selection of food and drink. The pasta’s we’re fantastic. Only warning is don’t expect too much from the margarita pizza on the menu it’s more of a bruschetta type starter than a pizza however over all a nice place for drinks and food. 4.5 stars rounded up ;)

This was my third time going to Passo but first time dining inside the restaurant and the vibe/atmosphere was friendly and relaxing, and nicely decorated. I originally had the booking for the week before but I came down with the flu and the staff were incredibly understanding on the day and moved my booking for the week after. The service was great and quick - we got a starter to share between the 4 of us so we could try the dish, so the server added an extra piece on the dish so we could all have one. The dish did not disappoint - definitely order the Mac & Cheese balls! The food is reasonably priced for where the restaurant is situated (just outside Old Street station), and good portion sizes! I love a hearty and filling pasta dish and it did not disappoint - 3 of us went for the seafood linguine (so flavoursome). In the Summer, I went here for a bottomless brunch in the terrace and it was a fun/lively atmosphere with bottomless negroni and pasta! Great spot for date nights or dinner with friends/family!

Amazing Italian food, super yummy we had the ragú and rabbit pasta, it was delicious, the pizzeta was nice too, and finally for dessert we had tiramisu! It was absolutely gooooood, highly recommended, price is good and the staff was super friendly! The portions are on the small size, so is better to order few plates and share :)

Really good place to meet friends for a couple of drinks and food! Cocktails were great, especially liked thier twist on an old fahsioned! Starters were good although when it comes to buratta i think simplier is better, would have preferred just olive oil and balsamic to the pesto and onion that was served. Pizza wasnt particularly impressive but the pasta dishes are definitely worth trying! Will definitely be back, the staff were very helpful which is always great!

The food here is exceptional. And the dishes are small portions which allowed space for two dishes each for dinner or 3 per 2 people for lunch☺️

We went to Passo for a birthday party, I booked the same day and the host she is been amazing! Great welcoming at the restaurant!
Service was pretty good and very professional, even if they were out of few dishes they came to the table and told us in a very good way.
Food and wine were very good, we waited a bit for our pizza but we enjoyed the atmosphere.
Half of my pizza was pretty burned, the crust and underneath! I didn’t say anything as everyone’s else enjoyed their meal.
Overall I had a good time and I will highly recommend Passo for a great pizza!

This was third visit here, and in the past the food has been quite good, however this experience was absolutely woeful.
Upon arrival we were greeted by a haughty and awkward manager who bangs away on her computer then says' there's no booking for you. You're at Passo is this where you booked??'
Deeply annoyed and insulted, I inform her that I had indeed called and booked earlier that day. We are then showed to a table in the not very busy restaurant.
Our waitress was lovely which momentarily made up for the bad start. Though we were disappointed to be told they'd run out of most of their menu items, among which was the Sirloin which I had been looking forward to ordering. Then we were told there were no fresh truflles to put on the truffle pasta.
I ordered the chargrilled chicken, upon cutting through it I see the flesh is still raw and blood is trickling out of it. I wave the waiter down and he takes it away.
Then the nightmare manager approaches me to advise they're just heating it up and will bring it back shortly. Not willing to risk food poisoning, I tell her that I would like to order something else. To this she ever so condescendingly replies, well the chicken was actually cooked, the blood has come out because you've cut through the bone.
I know what raw chicken looks like and in any case there shouldn't be blood coming out of it at all!
She then continues to tell me of their high standards of safe food handling and they always check the temperature with a thermometer.
When I challenged her as to why this raw chicken was served she said on this occassion they probably didnt test it!
In short a horrible experience. Their cooks need training , more over their manager needs customer service training on how not to rile up customers and enrage them to the point their evening is ruined.

I was so looking forward to my brunch at Passo yesterday, but unfortunately it didn’t live up to my expectations. We ordered 2 veggie breakfasts and a four cheese toasted sandwich to share. My veggie breakfast turned up with burnt, boarding on charcoal toast, this was dealt with quickly by the manager. The 4 cheese toastie arrived with the fried egg yolk already burst....okay, I can let this go, but when the bottom of white is REALLY crispy and the top is “snotty” I’m not happy. The sandwich itself wasn’t particularly nice either, tasted unpleasant, so we didn’t eat it. The manager was very apologetic and helpful, he said he’d give us the veggie breakfasts on the house, which was very good customer service and very much appreciated, he also kindly offered us drinks/pastry’s on the house, it’s dry January for me, so just ordered two teas. When the tea arrived, there was only one and no milk, it then took 5 minutes to get someone’s attention, it then took over ten minutes to get milk and the other tea. When the other tea & milk eventually arrived the lady apologised and said that they would be on the house due to the wait......We thought they were on the house anyway? When the bill arrived, we had been charged for the teas. At this point I just wanted to go, so we didn’t make a fuss, just paid the bill inc service and left. It hasn’t entirely put me off of Passo, it’s a beautiful restaurant, with a big open kitchen, friendly staff etc, so I’m going to go back and try the pasta/pizza/salads etc...just avoid the “breakfast” items and see how I get on. I’m hoping I’ll come away feeling more satisfied/happy on that visit.

I work in the WCF next door, so was keen to try this out.
Impressed with how quickly we were seated & orders taken. Starter & main pasta dishes were well seasoned & flavoured but still felt hungry after. Would appreciate a couple more spoonfuls of pasta on the plate, for paying between £8-£14 per dish.
Would I return? Maybe if servings were bigger!
