Amazing pizzas!!! Snuck down here for lunch with colleagues on a Friday afternoon and it was packed but we decided to wait for a table - glad we did as we got seated upstairs. It was lovely n quiet with views out onto farringdon and clerkenwell but of course soon got busy. The pizzas were great and we ate 2 between 3and were all stuffed. Highly recommend.
This is a little gem of a pub. On the surface it looks like a standard fullers pub but venture in and you see Sicilian flags and smell freshly baked crust. There a good selection on draught with the likes of London pride, honey dew, and frontier. The pizza menu is varied, with plenty of choice for veggies and carnivores alike. Come hungry because the pizza and calzone are huge, and very good value. They have one pizza on the menu that is half calzone and half pizza, which I recommend highly. You can tell the pizzaiola are highly skilled with the dough having a good airy, glossy and chewy crust. If you enjoy good pizza you will love city pride.
Great pizza and a good selection of beers and lagers. Friendly barman and soooo many pizzas to chose from (30+) at a reasonable price. Pub had a refurbishment in Autumn 2022. Can be busy on Thursdays but I went on a Friday and there were plenty of tables available.
5*+!! We held our engagement party at the City Pride and Luigi and his team were absolutely wonderful! Our guests and us had the best time, great drinks and delicious pizza. I‘d recommend this place in a heartbeat to anyone who is looking for a location to celebrate a special occasion. It looks lovely with the candles at night and the bar & kitchen team as well as Luigi are brilliant hosts!! Thank you 🧡
Lovely freshly made pizza that is actually a pizza and not the usually just bread dough and some toppings! Really nice staff and lovely atmosphere.
Lovely spot, great drinks and charming staff
A great little pub ! I hired it for a private party and Luigi, the landlord and his staff could not have been more accommodating. The pizzas are excellent, the space, decor and layout very good. Had a wonderful time.
Not the best selection of beers but it's decent for normal pubs in London. The pizzas though, are superb!!! So good and not pricey. All my Italian friends love it too :) There's also plenty of cozy seating space of all heights. unfortunately closed on weekends :(
This place is a gem! Tasty pizza and good wine. We enjoyed the waiter/barman as well, he greeted us, talked to us for a bit.
Honestly the pizza here in fantastic, since I've discovered this gem it's become one of my favourite places to go for a pizza and a pint. The diavola is legitimately spicy and the favours are great. Do yourself a favour a check it out !
After several attempts to find somewhere to eat in the area, we ended up here & what a gem. We are from New Jersey, where we take pizza seriously & if you want something close to NJ/NY pizza this is the place.
Great pub, with some great pizza. Service was good as was the atmosphere.
