After several attempts to find somewhere to eat in the area, we ended up here & what a gem. We are from New Jersey, where we take pizza seriously & if you want something close to NJ/NY pizza this is the place.

Lovely freshly made pizza that is actually a pizza and not the usually just bread dough and some toppings! Really nice staff and lovely atmosphere.

Update: April 2023. We popped in here and very little has changed, not that it needs to! Lovely, cozy pub with a reasonable selection of drinks (I quite like London Pride). They are also still selling the home-cooked style pizzas for eat in or takeaway.

A great little pub ! I hired it for a private party and Luigi, the landlord and his staff could not have been more accommodating. The pizzas are excellent, the space, decor and layout very good. Had a wonderful time.

5*+!! We held our engagement party at the City Pride and Luigi and his team were absolutely wonderful! Our guests and us had the best time, great drinks and delicious pizza. I‘d recommend this place in a heartbeat to anyone who is looking for a location to celebrate a special occasion. It looks lovely with the candles at night and the bar & kitchen team as well as Luigi are brilliant hosts!! Thank you 🧡

Great pizza and a good selection of beers and lagers. Friendly barman and soooo many pizzas to chose from (30+) at a reasonable price. Pub had a refurbishment in Autumn 2022. Can be busy on Thursdays but I went on a Friday and there were plenty of tables available.

This place is a gem! Tasty pizza and good wine. We enjoyed the waiter/barman as well, he greeted us, talked to us for a bit.
