Amazing Onion rings, amongst other good food options. Very friendly team, nice beer and a great function room available upstairs to hold a great birthday party for my daughter’s 24th. Looks like a great pub

Went here for a Sunday roast and didn’t regret it. Very friendly service, and a nice terrace in the back out of the sun. The roast was all it needed to be.

Really welcoming atmosphere with friendly bar staff, waitresses and manager all very pleasant. The mushroom arancini were really good along with the sauce that came with them, the squid was a bit over seasoned and a tad oily from the dressing but still well cooked (not over or under). Lamb and mint skewers were also really tasty but just a bit overcooked and the tabouleh was very fresh and again tasty. The rooms are very clean and there is complimentary porridge pots and muffins, there is no air con but a fan is provided and like most pubs with rooms it can be a bit noisy until closing time. Overall nice pub with good grub, some minor things with both the rooms and food are easily overlooked with the general feel to the place. I will certainly stay again when in the area.

Visited for lunch and a pint (didn't stay here so I can't comment on the accommodation). The gnocchi was tasty and the cider went down a treat. The staff were friendly and checked in to see how everything was. I'd definitely come back, The Brookmill has a great friendly and fun vibe

Love this place, the staff are fantastic! I have had some really good times in here and the food has always been really good, but the other day I had the roast pork, I asked the waitress is there crackling with the pork? (Main reason for having it) she said yes there absolutely is! So I ordered it, but unfortunately it was about the size of a 50p coin so bit disappointed to say the least, the other thing was it was drenched in beef gravy which I was a bit confused about? I thought a White meat like pork should have had a lighter chicken gravy with it. If I knew my pork was going to taste like beef I would have ordered the beef 🤷‍♂️ I would also ask if the gravy could come on the side so you can put on as much or as little as you like. Sorry guys still love the place and think you are all great🙏

I can't say enough good things about The Brookmill. Good, convenient location --near train, park, stores; and far enough from the London busy-ness. Friendly, helpful staff. My partner and I stayed here for a few nights (June 2023). Our room was spacious, perfect bed and pillows, spotless bathroom --everything you need for a good wind down and rest... Plus, downstairs from the room, there's of course the restaurant and pub. I don't drink, so I can't say anything about the alcoholic offerings, but I do eat, and I can say the salads, the spinach dish, the steak, the haddock, the chicken wings, the marinated skewers are all very satisfying... Plus plus, the garden. Yes, the garden. It's priceless... (PS. I almost didn't write this review because I don't want The Brookmill to get too popular and too crowded. But they need business to keep offering good service. And I want them to keep doing well... So, here I am, posting this review. I hope it's helpful.)

The food is good and the courtyard garden has a nice vibe. Staff are lovely. We probably should have realized there would be a lot of smokers on a Saturday night. That spoiled it for us a bit but not really a reflection on the Brookmill itself!
