This place is a hidden away gem. I am so lucky to work next to it. I have introduced many frineds to it and we're all of the opinion that this place does the best Turkish food in London. It tastes so good it's bound to be good for you, it certainly does wonders for relieving stress at work. One star lost because it doesn't have any independent halal certification, which I think would be a smart business decision considering the local demographics.

We had great value mezze.  Friendly service.  Our order comprised of shakshuka, taramasalata, lahmacun, and garlic mushrooms.

We were brought complimentary starters of a warm fresh pita, olives, tzaziki and spicy Turkish salsa.  Steam escaped from the bread when you tore into it.

Shaksula, or fried aubergine with spicy tomato sauce was tasty but didn't contain egg, as is usually the case.  Tarama was an alarming shade of pink but very flavorful and a big portion.  Lahmacun was lovely and light, with a scant layer of lamb mince on a nice thin flat bread.  I wouldn't order the mushrooms again, as there was too much cream for my taste.

We would like to return to try the mains which looked great.  The two of us had a lot of food for £24 including a 13% tip and a glass of wine.  There was complimentary turksih delight at the end of the meal.

In honour of my mother's 50th birthday, I made the decision to travel here. We ordered two family platters, and the meal was not only delicious but also authentically Turkish, as it was prepared by Turkish cooks. Service was excellent, and the restrooms were spotless. It is without a doubt my strong recommendation that anyone interested in coming to experience Turkish food come try it here. A genuine Turkish restaurant located in the East End of London. Both cash and card payments are accepted.

For my first visit, a group of 10 ordered two family special platters and we shared 1 amongst 5 us and it proved enough as we got chips and other sides with it too. The manager actually recommended the size even though it says 3-4 people on the menu, which was nice of him to not try to sell more. Everything was tasty and felt fresh. The bread had a bit more flavour or powder to it which isn’t found everywhere. The grilled chicken wings was really good too as was the other meat and kebabs. The Lahmacun had enough meat. I personally preferred the whiter rice to the orange one but both go well together with the doner. Top service and food came on time too. We ordered again for collection not long after trying it out for the first time!

The food here was fantastic . The meat was succulent and juicy and complemented by the rice and salad. By far, it is one of the best Turkish restaurants that I have been to. 👍

Very nice restaurant and have always had a positive experience. EDIT: went here in 2020 after lockdown eased and yes it was busy but i was waiting outside with 4 others including 1 person waiting inside and no one bothered to acknowledge us or make any effort of an update. was truly disgusting so we went elsewhere. haven't been back since which is a shame as i used to go often. EDIT: Thought I'd give them another go in 2023 and thankfully the experience was much better this time round as usual.

The food is good, but it's not the best Turkish I've had so far. However, in terms of locality it is a decent spot close to homes unlike many other Turkish places on the main street. The service is also good, however, our order did come a couple mins late which made us even hungrier than when we'd come in. The atmosphere inside the place is nice and cosy. It doesn't necessarily remind me of anything in Turkey but it does not need to, it's a comfortable enough place where I have no complaints. Overall, a good place to have Turkish food.

I have been dining here regularly. This is defo definitely my favourite Turkish in London. Better than Gokyuzu and other places. Food is always cooked perfectly and the complimentary bread is amazing. I don’t have any complaints in the 3 years I’ve been going here to eat
