I stopped here after a 4 hour journey and had a bacon sandwich and a coffee. Service was superb, and the 2 ladies in there were lovely.
The bun was so nice and not just because I was ravenous.

A really traditional (Italian) cafe in the City. Favoured by cabbies. Very fast and efficient service. Great coffee too.

The mozzarella sandwich tasted good but was quite small. The spicy pasta not so good, but depends on your preferences. Piccolo is slightly more expensive than most lunch places, for example Tossed next door or the Tesco with meal deals around the corner.
Good that they have a wide variety of choices and were not busy. No waiting in line when I went.

Lovely and comfortable and food was delish and not to expensive, the staff were very pleasant and chatty, it was clean and covid safe. Will drop in again when over that way.

I’ve been here twice, first time I’ve tried a chicken escalope served as a panini sandwich for just under £6 and I was full. Very consistent and tasty. Second time I’ve tried the pasta, bacon and onion, tomato sauce..they were delicious,decent sized portion and very good . They also have some upstairs tables and a toilet.

Busy place, but the food is nice.
The owner does run the place in the style of Gordon Ramsey at times, so you see a lot of the staff eager to please and be on point.
The owner genuinely wants to ensure the customers get a first class service, and this shows through.
Food was served promptly, and the quality was spot on for the prices.
