It is one of my favorite places in town. The food here is very delightful and not very hard on the pocket. The service is great and very prompt. The portions of the food are also quite satisfying. Every dish that we ordered was extremely delicious and very appetizing. I would definitely go back to this place again.
This is a nice place and usually has a lot of local crowd there. The food is good and the place has two floors, which not many are aware of. Mostly because of the hurry they are all in as the enter. The ambiance is good too, and it is all very affordable.
I visited this place with my friend and I must say I was highly impressed. From crisp (really crisp) bacons done just in the perfect 'British way' to the wide selection of authentic Italian dishes, this place come clean as a true winner!
Even though I was a little disheartened by the jacket potatoes, I was not that dismayed by the overall experience. I will definitely be going back here to experience more from the menu!
A place where you are welcomed by an amicable staff who are quite wacky and humorous! Coming to orders, we had tea that was well prepared and served at right temperature along with straight from the oven pain au raisin! Very delicious! Have heard about some great coffee and breakfast options at this place, would definitely like to try them as well soon.
My partner and I are staying here for few weeks. We have passed by this place a couple of time and finally decided to try their take away service. There was an extensive selection to chose from. We opted for a pasta and a wrapped bacon as main. The food was delectable. Certainly lived up to our expectations.
I stopped here after a 4 hour journey and had a bacon sandwich and a coffee. Service was superb, and the 2 ladies in there were lovely.
The bun was so nice and not just because I was ravenous.
A really traditional (Italian) cafe in the City. Favoured by cabbies. Very fast and efficient service. Great coffee too.

Great selection of food. Can get busy at peak times. Great spot to pick something up that's cheap and tasty. Seating available on other floors. Even with a queue it's not a long wait. I come 1-3 times a week for food. Staff are friendly.
The mozzarella sandwich tasted good but was quite small. The spicy pasta not so good, but depends on your preferences. Piccolo is slightly more expensive than most lunch places, for example Tossed next door or the Tesco with meal deals around the corner.
Good that they have a wide variety of choices and were not busy. No waiting in line when I went.
Great chicken salad and reasonable prices. Owner is a bit gruff maybe but who cares? Perfectly accommodating anyway.

The owner does run the place in the style of Gordon Ramsey at times, so you see a lot of the staff eager to please and be on point.
The owner genuinely wants to ensure the customers get a first class service, and this shows through.
