Railway Bell

Been going to the Railway Bell for some time now, ans every time I go in we always get a warm welcome. The staff are brilliant, constantly working hard especially through busy periods, and always on top of making their customers happy. They keep bringing me back in with the amount of events they have. Tribute nights, Karaoke, pub quiz and everything you can feel the warm ans happy enegery, from staff and customers alike. Thank you many times toneveryone that works there, you guys go above and beyond !!

I came to watch the ksi vs tommy fury fight, they were very busy but still managed to serve me in a timely manner. I had the cheese and bacon burger and it was nice, the pub even stayed open a bit later as the boxing over ran. The staff are all friendly and great especially Anthony who served us for most of the night. Thank you for the great night

Could do with reviewing the seating are by the bar as quite claustrophobic for those sitting there when the bar area gets busy but other than that a great place to go. Also if you are not taking app orders please let customers know or do not accept the app order in the first place. 5 star rating was saved by Chris Ramsay...what a legend! He totally earned his wages the evening I was there and kept going with great humour and great customer service.....thank you!

Over 50 years ago my dad met my mum here - she was working behind the bar. This brilliant pub has been my dad’s local for the last few years and he waxes lyrical about the staff and the venue. Even though we live locally, I’d never been in there until today - to remember mum on the anniversary of her death. The kindness that the staff show my dad on an almost daily basis is what makes you think humans are actually ok. He’s not easy yet they understand. A huge shout out to the landlady- you are the very best of people. The drinks are extensive and well kept, the menu simply great pub fayre. Inside is cosy - not in the small sense, but in the ‘you know you’re in a local’ sense. Really pretty garden area. Sports available but not intrusive. Entertainment including tributes and karaoke regularly. I know where I’ll be heading from now on.
