I was drawn to this unassuming hole in the wall after seeing a long trailing line of business people lining up during their lunch break. Their sandwiches are great value, and packed with meat and veg. Great bread to ingredient ratio.

Popped in today after the lunch time rush as I had some meetings so I didn’t have to queue, which was great. It was my first visit but many colleagues have raved about the sandwich shop before. Service was excellent, very warm and friendly staff who are happy to help. They were very attentive and made me an excellent sandwich, packed with fillings. Took it back to my office and ended up eating during another call. Hand to mute myself several times to then tell everyone around me at how good my sandwich was. Highly recommend.

I came back in the Covent Garden area, determined to have lunch in the blooming garden of St. Paul's of Covent Garden church. While walking down the street I check the food options offered here. I saw a very small shop, with a long queue. I immediately searched on Google and I liked the result - a high rating and they serve sandwiches. So I had to stand in line. Inside the small shop, 3 employees were making sandwiches on the spot according to the customer's choice. Smoked salmon in a round and large bun, seems to me like a good choice. Around me they ordered the sandwich of the day... which was not listed anywhere ... It's probably on their website. The guy who made my sandwich was kind and patient. He spread a very large amount of cream cheese, on which he arranged pieces of salmon, some slices of tomato and lettuce. On the other side of the bun he loaded avocado. From the prep counter he put the sandwich in the toaster and I made room for the next in line and waited outside. When the sandwich was ready, he motioned for me to come and gave me the food in a white bag and pointed out that there was tomato soup inside. Than I walked to the churchyard, where I sat in the sun on a bench with a blooming garden behind me. As the queue at the shop indicated, the sandwich was excellent. I could barely eat half, and my eating abilities are quite good... The tomato soup was delicious and seasoned to the right degree. Served in a wide cup with a lid. I drank it like you drink coffee. I really enjoyed a meal that cost £7.50

Very good sandwich place for lunch. Be ready to queue if you go between 12 and 1, but the sandwich are very good, the special of the day is always a good option (especially the Italian chicken). The persons working inside are nice but be ready to order, no time to hesitate.

Absolutely fantastic. Thick and full sandwich and soup for 6.50. I'm gutted I've only just found this place after two years. Service is quick and friendly, despite a constant and hefty queue. Food is fantastic. Tasty, filling, good value. Make sure you take a menu to work out what to have on your next visit!

Great place for takeaway lunch. All produce is fresh and all sandwiches assembled on the spot. Majority of takeaway gets a complementary soup and the queue moves really fast. Great place to also get a pastel de nata.

A firm favourite lunch spot of mine, now also open on Saturdays for lunch too. Always a different special option to enjoy or the selection is wide enough to make each meal slightly different. Each meal is packaged with a soup, a lovely touch that always hits the spot. The service is fantastic, a 6 person operation on a weekday lunch that churns out meals in minutes. Always friendly, always working with care to make each order correctly and they add a healthy serving of filling to the sandwiches. Atop the sarnies are a good selection of sweet treats and savoury snacks. A one stop shop for a working lunch, best enjoyed in the summer when sitting in Embankment Park.

Fresh and tasty! The sandwiches are a good portion and definitely a good value for money. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The missing star is because we didn't know about the free soup and they didn't give it to us.

Good value sandwiches with free soup. They have really nice bread and offer toasting as well as jacket potatoes. Not the best for veggies though imo, I like what they offer but the veggie combos are a tad bland. Have only been going recently though so haven't tried them all. Love that it's independently run and always so busy!

Lovely little local Sandwich shop. No indoor seating, takeaway only. Staff are fast and friendly. Cards and cash accepted. Sandwiches are immeasurably better than anything you get in the local supermarkets or subways, FREEBIES offered are a lovely little extra. Very popular with the local office lunch crowd. Can get busy during lunch times. Definitely worth a visit if your in the area and want a sandwich. Sanpeligrino can and a sandwich £6.20 with a free cup of the soup of the day. Look for the mosaic building number on the floor in the entrance.
