Good pub, nice spot, good characters and generally great service. Occasional hassle from passers-by if you're outside, but would definitely recommend.

Really nice pub atmosphere in a pretty busy area. Managed to grab a seat upstairs, really nice vibe and cool pub deco.
It was good to see a nice ale on tap ‘Tribute’ from Cornwall.
However, did buy one IPA that cost £7, which for me seemed extremely expensive. Considering it was just a standard IPA (not crazy high on the alcohol %)

Nice pub. The most important thing about it is that my team won the Tuesday night quiz.
Also it's got a nice atmosphere, comfy seats, nice grub, not too pricey, decent Guinness, and loads of tables.

An excellent pub handily placed for the park/market. If you do visit be sure to go up the spiral stairs to the really quirkily decorated upstairs area.

Perfect wee boozer beside the park. Watch life go by on a sunny day or revel in the weird and wonderful decor inside. Toilets down the spiral staircase.

We had Sunday roasts, both chicken and beef. We were slightly disappointed by the chicken (the sage and pork stuffing was just a small meat ball on the side). The beef, however, was great.
Quantity for both dishes were very large.
Desserts were good but very (too?) sweet.

Good place , a pub disco on my opinion as there is a dj set also. I come here for a couple of drinks and some food with my mates and I have to say : I really enjoy the time here. The food was good, the music make me dance and it offer me the entertainment I need on a Saturday night, and the staff was really cool. The pub, of course, was full of people, at it create a great atmosphere. Suggested for a Saturday night when u don’t know what to do.

This place is busy for a reason! Mark had us seated in 10/15 mins even though it was heaving. Had the cashew and mushroom wellington and it was delicious!! Great ambience, busy and vibey and the food is super good. FYI vegan vs. Veggie roast just means with or without a Yorkshire pudding - defo go for with 😂. Also, if you area seated on the ground floor make sure you add a tip as service isn’t included.
