Quick service on a busy Friday lunch time, tasty food very reasonably priced. Changes to the order was done perfectly for me. Slight error on my colleagues order, he ordered beef wok fried noodles and he got chicken, wasn’t too pleased.

Foods are of great taste. I specifically like their soups. Their green curry, red curry with chicken or prawn are also my favourite. They do fresh juices as well. Customer service are good but can be improved little bit more.

Situated on the top floor of Westfield Shopping Centre Stratford, this Vietnamese Restaurant offers a good selection of dishes at competitive prices. You order and pay first. You are then given a buzzer which will go off when the food is ready for collection. The glasses for drinks and bowls for food are very heavy, so be prepared for a mini work out session when you go to collect your food!
The food itself was delicious; Vietnamese Chicken noddle soup and the Chargrilled Chicken thigh rice bowl. To drink; Apple with ginger juice and Beetroot with ginger juice. Both were fresh, vibrant and tasty. Unfortunately they had run out of pork but I will definitely return in the future to try some different dishes.

Always fond of their summer veg roles served with peanut sauce, really good to try. However the fried rice was extra oily and not that good in taste.

Excellent place to try Vietnamese food, but all the dishes are less spicy compared to authentic Vietnamese and Chinese food. Overall, very tasty and reasonably priced.

I had wok fried noodles with beef and morning glory today. Both dishes were absolutely delicious with lots of flavours! I recommend ordering a side dish along with your main when hungry. I visited around 4:45pm and my order came fast in less than 5 minutes. Overall I'm very happy with my experience and will be back again for more.

Im no expert on Vietnamese cuisine, but saw this and HAD to try it. Pho Chin. Wow! Soft, succulent shredded beef brisket with glass noodles served in a beautiful, broth. The broth was to die for. It tasted ‘clean’ full of flavour. You were given a bowl of chilli’s, fresh herbs and bean sprouts. Wow, wow, wow! Using both chopsticks and the traditional large spoon, I was in heaven. I was incredibly full after, but felt healthy and very happy after this. Food heaven! #openkitchen #tasty #vietnamesefood #soup

We had the goi cuon (spring rolls in rice paper), goi du du(the best raw papaya salad ever!!..where do they get such fresh raw papayas?!) and pho ga (chicken noodle soup with boiled chicken and broth). The portions are quite generous in this vietnamese restaurant chain. I would have loved to sit down and have this mean in a nice restaurant, instead we had this in the food court at Westfield Startford. So it was the usual, busy, hungry foodcourt where you have to keep an eye on who is getting up to grab seats! All the dishes were well presented and were very very pleasing.

Nice and healthy Vietnam food from this casual dinner spot. A large dining area with loads of counters serving different types of food. Place your order, grab your tray and food, then sit down to enjoy. They have fried dishes with rice as well as hearty salads. We opted for the broth with brisket and wild mushrooms. Great for the winter detox. I have loads of Independent Viet places near me in Hoxton which I suspect is better than this chain, but they certainly give a good go at authenticity. Having been to Hanoi and tried some of these dishes in their natural habitat, I give this a thumbs up for effort.

This Vietnamese street food restaurant started by Stephen and Juliette Wall claims to be the London’s first Vietnamese street food restaurant and has over 12 branches in London itself. The first outlet of Pho opened in Clerkenwell in June 2005 after Stephen and Juliette travelled to Vietnam and fell in love with the food. They made the decision to start a restaurant serving pho while sat on high stools, slurping pho bo, around the shopfront of Pho Quynh in Ho Chi Minh City.

Ten years later, Pho is still a family-run business serving great value, authentically prepared Vietnamese street food, with restaurants in London, Brighton, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, Cambridge and Bristol. This restaurant specialises in pho, an amazingly tasty and nutritious noodle soup, as well as other authentic Vietnamese dishes, coffees, beers, cocktails and fresh juices.

Pho, pronounced ‘fuh,’ is the national dish of Vietnam. It’s a fantastic steaming bowl of rice noodle soup served with a side plate of fresh herbs. The herbs which are normally served with pho are Ngo (cilantro), Ngo gai (culantro), Hung (mint) or Hung cay (spicy mint), Hung que (Thai basil), red chilli slices and lime wedges. The addition of these herbs and table condiments are an essential part of eating pho and adds another dimension to the dish – their chilli paste for a kick, fish sauce for extra saltiness, garlic vinegar for sourness are all intended to create a riot on your palette. One can also find fresh bean sprouts to add the crunch or bite in the soup.

Thankfully, eating pho is not like eating Western food or Japanese food. There is no unspoken etiquette that one has to observe. Pho is meant to be enjoyed with some noise and a lot of slurping is just fine. So here's the process in a nutshell. The best way to attack a steaming bowl of pho is to have chopsticks in one hand and a soupspoon (a bamboo one) in the other. Take in a little broth with your spoon, slurp in some to get a taste of it. The soul of the pho is in the broth and the scent and taste of the broth are extremely important. Follow it up with the rice noodles using your chopsticks. Then select pieces of ingredients from the bowl and enjoy them individually or together with the broth and noodle.

The restaurant had a special for the day – Spicy Chicken Pho – and I decided to go with their recommendation. The pho came in large bowl and all the herbs and bamboo spoon on a side plate. Since, this was my first encounter with Vietnamese cuisine, I had no standards or benchmarks to compare. I loved this pho and it was so filling. Probably, it’s a tad overpriced. But the experience was wonderful.

Serious crave for pho but this has let me down. The soup was rather bland with the only good thing was the noodle. Ordered the spicy chicken pho (it does look good from photo) but I think it was just chilli oil added to normal broth. It actually made me search for more pho place around London to fix this craving out! Wouldn't waste another penny here though

A treat to your taste buds if you are craving for pure spicy and yummy food options.
Being an Indian, I was badly looking for some real spicy and hot food in London, not that I didn't the other cuisines that I tried there. Finally, Pho was at my rescue.
Pho Tom Soup was one of the best things I had had during my trip to London this year. The amazing color was enough to make my mouth water and then I can't remember when I started slurping the soup from the huge bowl. Not to mention the complimentary herbs were a good break too. Just keep up guys!

We went to get our Vietnamese fix again! This time at Pho – a Vietnamese street food restaurant that has been opening up everywhere since 2005! It is opened by a couple who traveled to Vietnam and loved it so much, they decided to open up a business when they came back to London. We went to their branch in London’s Stratford, located inside the foodcourt at the Westfield shopping centre. It’s very popular with all walks of life and you can see lots of people tucking into the big bowls of pho.

Authentic Vietnamese cuisine, or at least as authentic as it can get in London. Used to be much better but now getting more of a "franchised" feel to it, no wonder as they now have 13 outlets!

Freshly prepared decent Vietnamese food court eatery.
Healthy and vibrant foods, but the Spring Rolls were not exciting at all and the mains were equally sterile. Admittedly, I am not a big fan of Vietnamese food, but I have certainly seen more enticing menus.
Asianhawk says: Eat the healthy low fat food here and you are certain to lose many calories, but you won't have any fun doing it.

Only the vegetarian options are Halal.

Pho, Westfield Stratford – I love it! Well, based on the green papaya salad at GBP 5.45. I love the place and their concept and therefore hope to return to taste more of their dishes.

Here, their Pho stall on the first floor in Westfield Stratford, is a small place, with a comprehensive menu short-listed from their menu at their larger restaurants. They have, to date, five restaurants in England. Pho is a Vietnamese chain restaurant based on street food.

The salad looks generous, slightly on the pale side but tempting. Cold meatball served on top, not crazy about it. Refreshing, well-seasoned and spiced leaves me wanting more! It resembles the thai green papaya salad with the more dominant flavours of fish sauce and chillies.

I am indeed going to learn more about Vietnamese cooking from my cousin's wife (from Vietnam) who is a brilliant Vietnamese cook. If I am lucky, I might even be able to retrieve some of her family secrets...and ok, I promise to share some of them ;)

Pho can be found at the back of the world food section in Westfields Shopping centre. The staff are aware that Vietnamese cuisine is new to many and are happy to explain the different dishes on the menu so you are satisfied with your order.
They also throw in some exotic and refreshing drinks like the flower teas if your feeling adventures, and it's the perfect drink to have while you rest your feet before round two of shopping!

Food: Vietnamese

Price: Around £30 for two people

Atmosphere: Busy, Quick

Review:
Very nice place for a quick meal. The restaurant offers dishes of soup, rice or noodles all accompanied by different types of meat : duck, beef or chicken .

Your dish will be served very quickly with a maximum wait of 15 minutes. The dishes usually cost less than £ 10 which is very interesting for exotic cuisine .

Only negative point : the place is always full which can be a bit tricky to find a seat.

Not that I am an expert on Vietnamese food but I can definitely observe an exquisitely tasting one. Pho is not the genuine street food offering, but that is justified with the portion size and prices. At the end of the day, they have some Westfield shops, where you are deciding in between Nandos, Five Guys and Wahaca.
Instead of going with the standard noodle, try the salads and there you might get a healthy and nutritious offering without any grim taste.

Pho serves up quick Vietnamese fare in generous proportions that are fairly well priced. Its not exactly authentic, but the bottom line is that it tastes absolutely fine and doesn't cost a bomb. My girlfriend had the chicken broth which she confesses has become a weekly craving of late, while I restricted my vegetarian self to the fried noodles which was pretty decent. Repeat visits are inevitable.

This isn't the best vietnamese place I've ever been, the Pho's lack the intensely warming umami flavour that Pho soup's should have, but nevertheless it's a pretty good effort.

The summer rolls are a little cold, they should have been taken out of the fridge but they are well put together and with meaty chunks of prawn.

The noodle salads though in my opinion are why you come here. The nuac nom could use a little bit more chilli and garlic in it, it's a little bland to my taste, but the salads are well put together fresh and zingy.

The pick of the bunch for me would probably be Pho (both the name of the store which multiple sites in London and the Vietnamese national dish). Here I tried the Pho Chin, beef brisket in a rich stock soup and rice noodles served with beansprouts, coriander and chilli. The broth was deep and meaty although the beef was not as tender as advertised. To accompany this I had a side dish of Nem Hai San, a spring roll filled with tiger prawn, crab and pork. This was better than the main event and I could have happily polished off a couple more.

Pho is a vietnamese street food place . Pho basically means big bowl of soup with noddles, meat and vegetables . They also other stuff like cold noodles , fried rice and normal pan fried noodles. The servers are very helpful to explain you the different dishes . For me , this place has been trial and error . I am South Asian cuisine fan , hence I keep trying loads of different dishes. but on a good cold day , nothing more satisfying than a good bowl of pho.
