Stayed in a shortlet and searched zomato and found Tong Kanom as the highest rated place around the area. It was raining and my family and I wanted something warm so Thai food it is!
The place was pretty easy to find, they're right by the road and have clear signs. We came right when they opened at 6 pm and was promptly welcomed.
The food portions were not that large, but was delicious. Our server told us it's a family-run business so I guess that's why it tastes authentic. Servers were very friendly and nice. Would definitely come back again if I'm in the area. Regretfully didn't take pics because I was too hungry :(
"Magnifique. I went to this Restaurant few weeks ago and I am so happy I did. The fgnifiqueood was "Extraordinaire". I love Thai and unfortunately for various reasons I haven't been to a Thai restaurant for some time but Boy, this compensated for lost time! First they served Thai Chilli Rice Crackers (which were much more flavoursome than the usual Chinese ones) then we had a mixed platter for 2 as a starter plus 2 Pad Thai and a fried Tilapia. I always find something to say flavour wise regarding the food, but in this case the meal was spot on, service very friendly, everything was top notch. And to make things better there is a BYO policy and the delicious food was washed down with a nice bottle of Prosecco brought from home. One tiny criticism maybe was the waiting time and surrounding area outside, but who cares I come for food quality! If I want to please my visual senses, I would go to an Art Gallery! Notwithstanding that, the dish itself is a visual experience!
I visited this place last night and i am glad that i did. They serve some really authentic and traditional Thai cuisine. Decor is lovely and vibrant. I have been a regular customer of this place since many years now and that is why i can recommend that if you are craving for some authentic Thai food, this is the place to be.

The place is located in an unpopular part of town. The food here is extremely delicious and all the dishes are quite delectable. The service is also great, with the staff being friendly and polite. They usually don't answer the phone which is a very big put-off. I would definitely recommend it, if this thing was not lagging.
This place was a pleasant discovery for me.Its locality near my house is also pretty amazing.It is a bring your own and the prices here are very cheap and in my opinion ,spending more than 10 pound person is impossible here!
On to the food, the place specializes in Thai cuisine and the food is delicious.I definitely suggest people try the boneless fish fillet ,it is truly authentic and absolutely incredible!

The place offers Thai cuisine in a very cozy and warm atmosphere, which is perfect for food lovers. The food is delicious, and prepared well. All the dishes that we ordered were extremely appetizing. You would get the best Thai green curry here. The ambiance is very pleasant and adds to the great culinary experience here. The place is usually packed with people, so pre-booking is advised. I would surely recommend this place.
I recently tried this restaurant and found their to be of above average quality. I had coconut rice and curry and can safely say it was the best coconut rice that I ever had till date. The menu was quite an extensive in terms of the variety of rice that was on offer. The dessert that I tried was also an absolute delight. The prices were in a reasonable range. However, the curry that I had was pretty average.
It has been years that I and my partner have been visiting this place and there has never been a moment that we were served poor food or anything of that sort. The quantity of food is sufficient and quality is amazing. They have always surprised me with their update menus until last night when this place was quite busy and the staff was in such a rush that they were trying to evacuate the tables as as soon as possible which was not impressive at all. Otherwise the restaurant i good.
This was the best Thai experience I have ever had in the city. Such a quaint, family run place that brings a sense of comfort and intimacy that you just don't find in larger restaurants. Service could have been better, but I ain't complaining!

I recommend the coconut rice with prawn dishes and the Prawns in Blanket with homemade dipping sauce was so delicious that my partner asked for second helping. It was his first time trying Thai food and he said it was the best meal he has eaten in the UK.
It was a quiet evening due to nice weather but the service remained spot on.

Without a question of doubt the best Thai food I have ever eaten! So delicious, and such a great variety of options. They pay the utmost attention to the flavours and delivery of the food. As a vegan the options are so broad almost every dish can be adjusted. Not to add how absolutely lovely the staff are! I go here every time I have family to stay. Remains a forever favourite!
It’s a shame that I have lived in the area for 10 years and I decided to go for dinner now …authentic Thai food ..reminded me of the time when I was living in Thailand ..Food is Superb ,I tried a fantastic fish salad with fresh mango,corriander,mint and mixed salad (explosion of flavours) and honestly the best Thom Kha Gai soup.

This place was recommended to me by late Father it was his favourite and has been mine for the past 12 years. I've had Birthday celebrations there. The food is delicious, great Soul music which sets the ambiance. Front of House Bair is so welcoming and friendly. I definitely recommend here after all it is Award Winning!!

Lovely staff and very good food! They had my absolute favourite dessert - mango sticky rice - and it’s only available for another month so you have to get there now!! Highly recommend it!
Friendly and homely atmosphere. I had chicken stir fry and cashews, my wife had chicken and ginger stir fry. Both were great.
