After being urged to visit the ridiculously over-hyped, spectacularly overrated and bitterly disappointing Franco Manca in Muswell Hill a few weeks back, I was served one of the poorest pizzas I'd ever eaten. Having just visited Bella Mia for dinner this evening, I've just sampled easily the best pizza I've had outside of Italy itself. My girlfriend had the chicken escalope with spaghetti bolognese and that was also delicious. The food's amazing and the service also was first class. I'm so blown away with the incredible pizza I had, I can't recommend Bella Mia highly enough. Opposite Sainsburys in North Finchley High Street - just to make it easier for you!!!!
Dear Italian food lovers,I'd love to recommend you this beautiful authentic place in North Finchley.I went there couple of times already,most recently with 9 of my friends.I was Friday night,we wanted to catch up and have a great time and Bella mia gave us just that!!!!The food is superb,staff very friendly and helpful,we "stuffed" ourselves with very generous portions of pasta,fish dishes,risottos and on top of it enjoyed home made delicious tiramisu.The guitar player was a great entertainment and we felt like on holiday.The final bill was the best-on Friday night it's 20% off.Bella mia,you'll see us soon-FOR SURE!!!!!!
Excellent Italian food at very reasonable price. Friendly staff, lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended for all, including families with young children.
Had an amazing dinner. The owners are super nice and very friendly. The Caprese was amazing and fresh. The Spaghetti Bolugnese was amazing and it felt like I was back in Italy. Hope if you have time I would hope in and try it. Before I go home I want to try the pizza next
It was really nice inside and we were served straight away. I really liked the Bolognese. It was simple but nice and I would get it again. You can’t go wrong with a really nice Bolognese topped with cheese and lovely service.
This restaurant is a hidden gem .Me and my lady went there to get pizza and it was amazing .We decided to go there for dinner based on the service we received from the first visit .We were not disappointed.The female greeted us in a friendly manner and got us seated straight away .The food was amazing and so was their desserts.I would recommend this place for couples .Thank you Bella Mia for an amazing visit .
Wow. First time ordering from here, can’t believe I didn’t know about this place sooner. Ordered some pizzas - ingredients were so fresh and super tasty. Will definitely order again!

Stopped off for something to eat after staying locally for one night. We went in around lunchtime and were the only people in there. We were quickly seen to and our order was taken. The food was good and I would go there again if we stayed in the area. My only minor criticism would be that the cheese on my 4 cheese pizza was a little light compared to other restaurants I have had this in. The prices however were reasonable for London.
Second time here with family. Very nice food- tuna, branzino, veal, gnocchi, carbonara, minestrone, gamberoni, arancini, tiramisu... Good wine selection, too. Friendly staff. A hidden gem in a busy location.
Booked for six of us to eat here on a Saturday lunch time just over a week ago. It was lovely as it was all decked out with balloons for the owner's daughter's birthday party..
We all had starter's followed by main meals and they were all delicious. Great service and really friendly staff. Really wished we had taken photos of our meals, as they looked mouth watering. I personally would recommend the spaghetti allo Scoglio. Mixed seafood was divine!
Next time we're in the area we will definitely book again!
Visiting first time- nice atmosphere, reasonable prices, courteous staff. Ordered mushroom pizza and it was very good! Will return when next time in the area.
