Excellent food and the Tiffin boxes are a nice touch, makes it easy to choose! The food had a lot of flavour, real depth and differences between the dishes. Some of the best Indian I’ve had in London. Would definitely recommend and they do takeaway too!!! (Collection only). I’ll be going again

Great little restaurant! Freshly prepared, tasty food with all natural ingredients! Great place for vegans, which I'm not but loved the vegan naan breads! Great ambiance and friendly attentive staff! Highly recommended! BYO an added bonus!

We discovered this gem in lockdown and still visit despite moving to the other side of London. It is one of our fave places to eat in London, the food is flawless. Lamb chops star do the show, other than the charming waiter. Top notch nosh!

The best curry you will eat in the UK. An absolute hidden gem in Leyton - a must visit for all curry lovers and Indian travellers. Beautiful, home cooked food - always with a friendly smile + service. Must try: Slow cooked lamb bhuna + King Prawn Jalfrezi. Also BYOB!

My mate and I regard ourselves as huge curry lovers, and after visiting Masala India twice, we both agree that this is probably the best curry restaurant we've ever been to - which we don't say lightly! It's super fresh, home-cooked food that's incredibly flavoursome. The dishes are unique, and the food feels much healthier compared to typical dine-out curries. The restaurant is also family run, and the people who run it are awesome: very welcoming, chatty and interesting. I can't recommend this place enough.

Such an incredible gem in Leyton! We visited for a dinner during the week and everything was perfect! Staff was incredibly friendly and smiling, we loved that! We were offered the opportunity to choose where to seat (either the back or the tables close to the entrance door - we chose the former and the atmosphere was lovely & relaxed at the same time!). Food was SO delicious and flavourful! Every dish we ordered had "its own personality" and portions were big! We loved having the opportunity to interact with the owner of the restaurant at the end of our dinner and knowing more about his restaurant: you can definitely tell he has passion for good food! We left with a smile on our face and our belly satisfied! Absolutely recommended and I cannot wait to be back myself! Thanks!

Great local restaurant. They were very welcoming despite it being fairly late on a Friday night. It was fairly quiet in the restaurant by the time we were there but I got the impression there would be a good atmosphere at busier times. The food was delicious and as the waiter did, I would recommend the tiffins over a singular main dish, either for one person or to share. All of the staff were friendly. In particular the person who served us was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and was more than happy to give us good recommendations. I think the restaurant is family run. This restaurant doesn't serve alcohol but they will allow you to bring your own with you. There is an off licence a couple of doors down from the restaurant.

We’ve had a few recommendations for this place and I am so glad we finally made it. We had such a warm welcome (even with our two kids) and the food really is outstanding. We enjoyed everything we ordered but the lamb was really stand out. Amazingly with a few street food snacks and starters our 2 tiffin meals easily fed all 4 of us, plus extra for take away. It’s very reasonably priced, BYOB and the heated garden is perfect for this time of year. We cannot wait to go back and try more of the menu.

Incredibly friendly staff and lovely, reasonably-priced food. Could use a little more attention to detail with cleanliness, particularly in the seating area out back, but the general vibe and food are so enjoyable that it doesn’t really matter. Would recommend trying a little of everything within the tiffin boxes, as well as the paratha which is always delicious. Great selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes, too.
