Really good authentic Chinese food! Staff super helpful and nice, will go back again

There are Chinese restaurants and there are also CHINESE RESTAURANTS. And then there is Sun of China. From the outside understated, could be confused with a local caff, that is until you sit down and get the photo album menu. That is an experience in itself. Admittedly, I can only judge by my own dish, my taste buds and the dishes and the taste buds of my two friends. I may prefer very spicy, my friends don't, but our views were pretty much alike - excellent food. You have to wait a bit, however the dishes are well worth the wait. I did opt for Sun on the basis of other reviews and I'm glad I did. I hope your experience turns out to be like mine.
My partner and myself (my baby now) are regular customers. Dish are very taste, the restaurant is very clean. Baby chair is super clean and this is why I like to take my baby there. People are running this restaurant are very friendly and you feel warm towards them. This restaurant is very famous on spicy flavor but you can ask them not to add spice to suit individual taste. Highly rarely!
Reasonable price yet authentic style. The oil was a bit too much though
Excellent quality and fair prices. Have tried others but found the taste to be bland, this is by far the tastiest food and on par with the food I experienced while living in the US. Will be going back for more.
Recently had food from here again and it was excellent just like the previous occasion they clearly have a baseline quality which is exceptional. There's a few of us commuters who chat on the train in the mornings and we all agree this place is amazing.
Had dinner with my friends yesterday. Love the chairman mao red braised pork and stewed pork belly. The green beans is the best veg dish I have ever tried. Lovely place and great service. Will come back soon.
Lovely place with authentic Chinese food. Came here few times with friends and enjoyed the experience. The sauteed beef with asparagus in black pepper sauce is highly recommended and it is one of the best beef dishes I have ever have.
Great food under new management. Try the dry green beans!
So many times we've fancied Chinese food and been let down. Not this time. We used to live in China and found the Ma Po Tofu and Sichuan beef authentic and really good. Also didn't feel overly oily or unhealthy. Recommend.
