Amazing food. Best roast I have had in a long time. A large portion and beautifully presented. The sirloin looked more like a steak than a slice of roast but it was cooked amazingly. Service was excellent. It wasn’t busy at all but there was relaxing music and enough chatter from other tables for it not to feel empty. My sister had a vegan curry which looked horrible but tasted amazing. Would definitely come back!

Service is always excellent! The food is served promptly and overall good. Today we had the bangers and mash which was enjoyed. The salmon and haddock fishcake was a bit disappointing as it was pretty much potato with some salmon/haddock flakes. Not necessarily bad, just not what was offered. Truffle and parmesan fries were ok too. Loved seeing the fire lit on a cold and rainy day, it was a highlight of the visit.

Great Sunday Lunch with family in this lively and popular local pub. Service was fun, relaxed and friendly, Henry, our server gave his recommendations and they were spot on, loved the croquettes for a starter. The main roasts were excellent, portions were generous and the meat was succulent and tasty. Good value for money, worth booking to guarantee a table.
