Burnt Toast Cafe - London - Photo album

Small Cafe' in buzzling Brixton Village. It's probably one of the most popular brunch spots in the area and it's clear why. Their food it's absolutely incredible and so is the hospitality. Carol, the manager, is an absolute sweetheart and I could spend hours chatting to her. Everything on the menu
Been here in Brixton for about a week and had to check this place out. My goodness it's delicious! On our first visit I ordered the French toast with berries and tea, and my hubby ordered the half English breakfast with a flat white. Both dishes were excellent! Being from the United States we've nev
Thank you Imran for your fantastic service! Our Mexican eggs Benedict and Eggs Royale with side of sausages was just enough to hit that good food spot! Hollandaise sauce was spot on! The flourless chocolate cake was that melt in your mouth type gooey goodness... I highly recommend Burnt toast cafe!
A hidden gem in Brixton village. It’s a tiny place with a few table and chairs. Friendly service, just make sure to avoid going on weekends as the to both sit and get served is in the hours. We came back mid week for a more relaxed breakfast, and the butterscotch covered french toast didn’t disappoi
came here for brunch after always seeing it busy. Only outside seating, be warned, but the food is excellent and the coffee was decent too. you do your own toast which feels slightly gimmicky but at least you get hot toast. great place, will be going back as pancakes looked incedbile
The frittatas were a little too salty for both our taste, but the soft boiled eggs are just absolutely fabulous. Everything a brunch should be, the classics, and a few options with a twist. I highly recommend the Mexican breakfast, such lovely flavours. The coffee is superb, the service is fine, a l
One of the best breakfast in london. The shakashoka is the right way it should be. When you come on Sunday be there exactly at 08:50 or you won’t have a place to seat.
The pancakes are exceptionally good and the staff really look like they enjoy working there. The Mexican breakfast (pictured) is good too
Well, no word of a lie. They have the best pancakes I've had in my life, and I've travelled around quite a bit!
Absolutely loved this place. Ordered the Mexican breakfast (guac and chorizo) which was d-lish, a little bit of a kick which was great for the hangover. Service was fantastic. Recommend 👌👌
Great coffee, great food, unique tastes, and s great morning breakfast destination. Its popularity cannot be understated ; yes we queued, yes it was worth it.
I often have breakfast and coffee here. The staff are friendly and efficient. The breakfasts are delicious. Pancakes awesome and everything is generously portioned. The coffee is great. They make most of their own bread and it’s always fresh and tasty. They only take cash, so come prepared. And also
Some of the best brunch I've found in England. No jokes. The only thing to consider is to get there early as they can be completely full during peak times. If you don't feel too hungry they even have the option of making your own toast with self service toasters. The coffee is not bad at all either
Hands down best pancakes I've eaten anywhere. I honestly can't eat pancakes from the majority of brunch spots I go to they're just not up to this par. The coffee is really good too. I found the cafe in early November and I honestly couldn't tell you how many times I've been since but definately more
Really tasty brunch - had the veggie breakfast with extra hash browns. You make your own toast at the toaster and there's a selection of jams etc. The coffee is lovely too. Service was great apart from one person (potentially the manager or supervisor?) Came across quite rude and standoffish. Especi
Was craving pancakes one morning so I decided to check out burnt toast. They were amazing, probably some of the best pancakes I've had and the maple syrup was awesome! Couldn't have been more happy with the service, lovely lady greeted me outside and had a nice chat with me before seating me. Hot ch
I'm a big fan. Hands down the best flat whites in Brixton, and I'm a fussy Australian. I'm there literally every weekend and work-from-home day for their reasonably-priced but sublime blends. Also, their Mexican breakfast is a winner, extremely tasty, but that goes for all the breakfasts of theirs I
